I went Talene with the chest... but I already have reinier built enough (s+, ex 15), phraesto (p2, ex 20), and scarlita (p3, ex 20)... the others I don't care at all for really. Reinier should definitely be built to m+ 1st.

Me too Have been saving for Reinier/Scarlita for like 2 months but when I saw Talene comming I was like... Screw it... I'm not gonna chase a meta I will never catch up to just bc I'm not a whale And I don't regret my decision even if I will never reach top ranks bc of it
I think you should make a video about what heroes from AFK Arena that you want in AFK Journey. It would just be a fun video and also some nice theorycrafts on how their skills from Arena be implemented into Journey.
I went for Talene and I don't think I regret it. I am early into season, my resonance level for base campaign is 257 and 50 for a season. So far, she had been really fun in everything I tried her in. I run her with S Odie, S+Thoren, L Smokey and L+ Reinier and she is doing decent damage and healing. We will see how she holds up in later stages, but so far, I am not disappointed, especially since I just upgraded my Reinier to L+ with guild coins. Four more copies of Reinier will come along eventually.
i'd say reiner m+ the first priority because he excels in almost everything scarlita for pvp phraesto is not even expensive, he's great for pushing afk stages with minimal investment (legendary+ is the stopping point) i've seen mythic+ +10 talenes getting outdmg still by odies
Fun fact: I have been top 10 in my server when it comes to bosses and recently i have been pushed out of top 10 sometimes, and it's all because i don't have a scarlita ready yet. She does surprisingly well in dream realm bosses due to giving you a faction bonus, good damage and shields.
u actually kinda got it wrong ... scarlita is for everything and reinier is only for dream realm there is some niche scenarios in pvp u could try to cheese with him but at higher rankings people understand how to avoid the reinier swap and its essentially useless on defense meanwhile scarlita is decent in dream realm and meta for pvp and afk pushing. reinier is useless for afk stages ... i dont know why prydwen put reinier at S+ for push and pvp but he is very far from meta in both modes u could use him but u wont do as well as other players. phraesto is another good option if u just need a tank he is by far the most tanky character in afkj currently and that makes him easily mandatory S+ for deficit push and S+ vs some pvp teams that utilize more tank dmg.

And also Reiner IS very good in afk stages, especially ones where the enemy team is tanky af with heals. You put in Reiner to make him more smokey to the center of the enemy side. Once smokey does his 3rd ult, you clear the stage. Reiner is very much a huge unit in afk stages, arena, and most importantly dream realm. There's no other rating he can have beside S+. It literally doesn't matter if you "don't think he's cool", "don't like his design", or whatever. He IS who you should build 1st... point blank... end of story. He is basically essential to ranking high in Dream Realm, quite good in PvP once you learn how to use him, and quite good in stage pushing early-mid game. Y'all can get behind if you want to... totally your call, but im just telling ya. He is who you should build 1st.
The order right now is realistically Reiner than Phraesto. Out of the remaining pool if gazer options he sees use in multiple dreamrealms, the main enabler along with smoky for the current best pve team. Although scarlita is a total beast for pvp and does see some use in dr as well, so if pvp is your focus picking her up second would potentially be better for you.
I’m constantly in top 50 in dream realm and top 100 pvp quite often and I barely have reinier at legendary meanwhile I run s+ phraesto purely because I love his theme which is cool, and he just luckily ended up being the best tank in the game, it’s absolutely not needed to have a built reinier to hit decently high in ranks and it should honestly be encouraged to just play what u have fun with (I love scorpions hence I spent money on phraesto)

I already had a Mythic+ Reiner, so I went with Talene because she looks great and I love resurrection gimmicks as a gameplay element. (It's why I obviously love Thoran, Bryon and Niru) It's probably not the best choice for account growth like Scarlita is, but I still need to have fun and enjoy some of these characters for what they are and not always just min/max everything.
It’s taken me from playing from April up until now to get Mythic Plus Reiner. I’m gonna be playing this game until the end of the year and beyond so I have hope to get this unit to Supreme Plus.
I chose Talene because by the end of the "all hero" event, I'll have a copy of all older Hypogeans/Celestials. The store and stargazing will then serve to get more copies for the one I should max. Haven't spent any for the stargazing yet
When I were wishing for Rainer always the last one gave the hero. Of course when I got TALENE from chest and I needed 40 wish for a new hero and I made one wish I got another TALENE :/ I could have got Scarlita who I don’t even have :(
Honestly rn Reinier>Scarllita>Talene. But Talene being Lilith's child I see her getting super good after some patch notes or in the next seasons. People ere also complaining of Phraesto but he is so good. My another justification for going for Talene is that you don't much of a power jump at S+ as you get building Scarlita to S+ and getting a cele/hypo to 15+ is more easy than getting him/her to S+. Idk why people are fussing about Scarlita yoinking her just don't use her against scarlita simple.

I am investing in Talene with my account. I have noticed one bonus in her: I feel that it is worth to dump all the twilight essence on her as she is a great damage dealer and has viability in dream realm (and hopefully in PvP, even though she seems to be easily countered)
I'm leaning Talene as well. I have the single copy of Reiner, and then all my points and stellars ready for either to get 6 copies atm. Talene sounds like more fun and I've gotten this far without using M+ Rein
I saved orbs for the next good Cel/Hypo. when I heard she's fine at 1 copy, I used the chest on her and then spent my saved orbs to boost Reinier to M+. now I'll look to building TayTay
I just want to say that low rarity Talene is extremely useless in afk stages. It is fun to watch her being oneshot and resurrect on cd, while others are fighting for their lives.
as a F2P player that tries to compete in rankings as much as possible talene and dionel are basicly super safe skips as they are pure dps cele/hypo which means they RLY need S+ to compete with other dmg carries like florabelle, arden, carolina, odie etc. a m+ talene will simply not be enough for her numbers to rly start shining meanwhile a m+ reinier or phraesto will carry u thru their respect gamemodes dreamrealm/deficit pushing and scarlita at m+ starts to rly go crazy in pvp. talene is not bad but no cele/hypo is the problem is how much investment she needs not just in building her up but also from her team as she does quite a bit of self dmg u will always be kinda forced to run her with 2 healer which drastically limits team building and she doesnt even bring any buffs to ur team beside the potential revive if ur tank actually survives long enough for 3 stacks.
I grabbed Talene cause I want to have one copy of every character but I am gonna continue working on Reiner as a F2P, mine is Legendary rn. I might regret it a little bit but its ok I dont care that much 😂
I'm definitely saving the chest until I'm able to get my next hypo-celestial (that I didn't decide yet) to at least m+ though it is tempting to just pick up a copy of talene because she's fancy to have =P

My Reiner when I upgrade him to M+ push me in dream realm from 100-120 to 50-70. I world greatly recomend him to you for M+. I also have Talene on L+ and she is doing ok... I think in next month she will be m+ m+😊
Reinier first then if you value PVP - Scarlita if you value PVE progression\Dream realm - Phraesto Tailene suc cause she gets interrupted, so she`s bad for pvp and she`s bad for PVE
Scarlita is PvP and pve. Scarlita should be the second built no question. As for talene vs pharesto. Talene is fine in arena, just use enlightening. It’s not that hard. In pve pushing she is doing really well too. So idk where everyone is getting the info that she sucks.
I think talene heals aren't good as in afk arena and feels a bit underwhelming in comparison I think as f2p you should get renier m+ and save for next op celestial hypogean Renier will always buff new op heroes unlike talene even if she does great dmg she can always be powercrept and renier will buff the next power creep unit in dream realm damage And if you struggle in arena you should probably reroll it's about the number of whales on your server rather than your heroes
I will go full Scarlita since I got Reiner M+, Scarlita was amazing in the last world boss, she is more versatile in different game modes, not only pvp and most importantly, in pvp she is not only great, she destroys Thorans, and for that alone it's worth it, fuck Thoran revival bullshit!
I have Legendary Reiner and I've only been saving b/c I don't want to invest in something that I won't use. That said I'm at pity on star gazers with 50 in the tank. Still don't know who to get between Scarlita, Reiner, and Talene. I'm heavily invested in Alsa so maybe Talene is awesome but not for me?
Do you care about placing in events? Honest question, because not pulling Reinier because he doesn't look cool makes zero sense. If you could care less about beating Dream Realm bosses and placing higher in damage on other bosses then skip Reinier. I know not everyone has the same goals, but if you desire to be even remotely competitive, you HAVE to have Reinier.
Personally, I'd recommend staying away from Talene. I got her to mythic+ and she is not all that good. I haven't found a team that really works with her in pvp, and she's only mediocre in pve. Phraesto would've done sooooo much more for me imo. I'd go Reiner first, Scarlita 2nd, Phraesto 3rd, then maybe her? I haven't tried Beriel, tho. I'm pretty bummed I made this decision.
I went with Reiner as my choice. My Mythic went to Mythic Plus thank goodness it’s about damn time. Freebie chest plus the saved up coins in the store to finally ascend it. Is it worth it building it to Supreme plus? If I’m playing this game for the long run I might as well. It’s now a challenge trying to collect more essence to get it +5 and maybe +10
Im two copies away from m+ rainier. But i have enough guild tokens to get the one more and with the box i can mythic plus him but I'm gonna save the box.

For those saying scarlitha counter her . No one cares 😅 even if no talene scarlita sucks 4v5 in early is really bad. The only thing scarlity is good is that if you have high overall power than the enemy but that doesnt happen a lot in f2p and low spender
Where´s the so called free copy of Talene? I´ve patched the update, Talene was presented, I´ve bought her in the Guild Store costing 30k guild coins(as usual). Next I´ve spent another fortune buying the newer 10 stellar crystals available at the Arena Shop, besides the 10 stellar crystals I had already. All these stellar crystals and I got... 6.666 diamonds. Yey. But so far... no free whatsoever. Is there a coming event which´ll offer celestial/hipogean copies?
@stuntbeast3686 I've had him at M+ for months. I'm not a whale and I stay top 30-40 in all Dream Realm bosses, some top 20 in district 7. I'm playing against Krakens. Reinier M+ then move to someone else.

@Bruutje- it's in your inventory. I looked for it in events, mail and thought they hadn't sent it out. They just send it straight to your inventory with no fanfare.
reiner is considered good at M+, no need to go to S+ for him. Can considered to go for Scarlita, though she'll need to go to S+. Talene so far is good even at Legendary+
Also people saying "Talene is a mistake" I would remind you that everyone thought Alsa was garbage when she first came out, everyone thought Ulmus was garbage when he first came out, everyone thought Phraesto was garbage when he first came out and yet they ALL proved to be incredibly well designed characters that all have very strong uses in different aspects of the game. I would definitely give it a few more days before we call her a "mistake". ;D

Just got my dionel to mythic+ and it’s actually kinda fun to have a niche hero that people skipped. Think i just might boost him towards supreme+ as he needs those numbers to be as high as possible.
I got Talene. I know I haven't quite gotten Reiner to Mythic+ yet, but Talene was too enticing to not grab and she has definitely been a help with my afk stage pushing.

1st: Reineir (best for everything)
2nd: if you want dmg overall Talene and if you want Long term use Scarlita/Phaestro

You’re wrong about not getting Reinier at M+ for a jump in ranking. As soon as I got him to M+, I jumped up pretty high. The debuff is amazing.

I grabbed Talene cause I want to have one copy of every character but I am gonna continue working on Reiner as a F2P, mine is Legendary rn. I might regret it a little bit but its ok I dont care that much 😂

My Reiner when I upgrade him to M+ push me in dream realm from 100-120 to 50-70. I world greatly recomend him to you for M+. I also have Talene on L+ and she is doing ok... I think in next month she will be m+ m+😊

Scarlita is PvP and pve. Scarlita should be the second built no question. As for talene vs pharesto. Talene is fine in arena, just use enlightening. It’s not that hard. In pve pushing she is doing really well too. So idk where everyone is getting the info that she sucks.
Just made my Berial m+ yesterday now I'm probably going full in on Phraesto, then I'll consider m+ Reiner or Talene

I think talene heals aren't good as in afk arena and feels a bit underwhelming in comparison
I think as f2p you should get renier m+ and save for next op celestial hypogean
Renier will always buff new op heroes unlike talene even if she does great dmg she can always be powercrept and renier will buff the next power creep unit in dream realm damage
And if you struggle in arena you should probably reroll it's about the number of whales on your server rather than your heroes
I will go full Scarlita since I got Reiner M+, Scarlita was amazing in the last world boss, she is more versatile in different game modes, not only pvp and most importantly, in pvp she is not only great, she destroys Thorans, and for that alone it's worth it, fuck Thoran revival bullshit!
I have Legendary Reiner and I've only been saving b/c I don't want to invest in something that I won't use. That said I'm at pity on star gazers with 50 in the tank. Still don't know who to get between Scarlita, Reiner, and Talene. I'm heavily invested in Alsa so maybe Talene is awesome but not for me?

Honest question, because not pulling Reinier because he doesn't look cool makes zero sense. If you could care less about beating Dream Realm bosses and placing higher in damage on other bosses then skip Reinier.
I know not everyone has the same goals, but if you desire to be even remotely competitive, you HAVE to have Reinier.

Personally, I'd recommend staying away from Talene. I got her to mythic+ and she is not all that good. I haven't found a team that really works with her in pvp, and she's only mediocre in pve. Phraesto would've done sooooo much more for me imo. I'd go Reiner first, Scarlita 2nd, Phraesto 3rd, then maybe her? I haven't tried Beriel, tho. I'm pretty bummed I made this decision.

I went with Reiner as my choice. My Mythic went to Mythic Plus thank goodness it’s about damn time. Freebie chest plus the saved up coins in the store to finally ascend it. Is it worth it building it to Supreme plus? If I’m playing this game for the long run I might as well. It’s now a challenge trying to collect more essence to get it +5 and maybe +10

No one cares 😅 even if no talene scarlita sucks 4v5 in early is really bad. The only thing scarlity is good is that if you have high overall power than the enemy but that doesnt happen a lot in f2p and low spender

I´ve patched the update, Talene was presented, I´ve bought her in the Guild Store costing 30k guild coins(as usual).
Next I´ve spent another fortune buying the newer 10 stellar crystals available at the Arena Shop, besides the 10 stellar crystals I had already. All these stellar crystals and I got... 6.666 diamonds. Yey.
But so far... no free whatsoever. Is there a coming event which´ll offer celestial/hipogean copies?
you get the free chest in the Growth Trial if i remember correctly.

reiner is considered good at M+, no need to go to S+ for him. Can considered to go for Scarlita, though she'll need to go to S+. Talene so far is good even at Legendary+

Also people saying "Talene is a mistake" I would remind you that everyone thought Alsa was garbage when she first came out, everyone thought Ulmus was garbage when he first came out, everyone thought Phraesto was garbage when he first came out and yet they ALL proved to be incredibly well designed characters that all have very strong uses in different aspects of the game. I would definitely give it a few more days before we call her a "mistake". ;D
