what mistakes have u guys made that you would tell others to avoid?
and hope your summons are giving you god tier rates!
I made singular summons, never do it, always go for x10 in all banners
Don't stress about the gacha, the acorns are real antagonist of the story.
The biggest I made was not asking for help, don't be afraid to use the call for help button on the game, other people can clear a difficult stage for you!

Mistakes to avoid for me:
- Experiment and try different characters, this is really important especially in Arena mode and Tower.
- Don't be scared to Spend your gems in discounted dailies, arena tickets, and idle rewards.
- Try to finish all your arena tickets + refill and all your daily contents until you hit a wall.
- Don't let small mistakes ruin your game, this is an idle game. Sooner or later, you'll catch up to everyone.
- The community is really friendly, there are a lot of guides, and you can play the game at your own pace.
- Lastly, don't forget to have fun and enjoy!

Additional info:
- Don't forget to check your character affinity levels. 1 level can give you 50 diamonds. Just by giving 1 item (that you pick around the world). Pick those up because they don't reset/respawn back (I think).
- Don't buy equipment in shop but rather forge. It's important to update your gear for additional stat boost. For efficency, level up your characters by 5, which will make the next level of gear availabale to you. The gear level goes in increments of 5. The materials you get are meant to be used. It also clears your gear quest which gives you more materials for forging.
- Get 1 copy of each hero (if possible) because it makes it easier for you to clear different stages, especially in tower mode.
- When you're done with your dailies, arena, boss, guild, and hit a wall with nothing to do. Go farm your friendship points if you have the time and you're up for the grind. You can access this on "team-up" in chats.

I won't lie with afk games I usualy see myself dropping them in 2 or 3 days, but with this game I've been very invested in it, I've also got pretty good luck with my first pulls wich has gave me even more reason to keep playing, but if I'm honest seeing content creators like you and the comunity itself and how welcoming it is it's a very good reason to keep playing, congrats on the 5k
Thanks for covering this game. I had heard, but so many of these AFK games just suck. The more you get into it, the more I'm learning and so far I'm enjoying it. Quite the story!
I have never played a game like this and I have been grinding on this game for 2 weeks now. Your meta breakdown for min-maxing is what I ended up sorting out, but it was a grind. What I'm saying is I could have saved myself a lot of time had I watched this video when it first dropped. My favorite tip was to wait till the end of session to collect the rewards since they're based on the AFK levels, didn't know that. Here are some of my tips and observations:
I have tried so many different combinations of teams, and I found there is no 1-team fits all. Find a solid core of 3 heroes and use the other 2 for different use cases
Maulers had the best damage output as a full squad over the other factions, at least for the early-mid grind. I have 2 heroes at 120 and 3 at 110. Experimenting with new compositions now
Figure out a rotation for completing the different tasks around the map and in the different modes, the game offers constant rewards for taking part in everything
Save world loot for when you need it. If you are stuck anywhere because of your res level, go into the map a do a huge run of all the loot chests, it will get you through a bottleneck
Whenever you pick up armor and weapons, immediately apply them or upgrade them. You want to keep your heroes' gear as upgraded as possible
Honor-battles are VERY rng based. I am in the top 2%, and they match you with other similarly ranked players, but it is a very tactical heavy mode where hero upgrading and powerups are crucial
Also DON'T spend your real money in the shop, it's crazy in there. Let the rich nerds keep the game funded. The earnable rewards are satisfying. Spend diamonds on recruitments and coins on upgrades.
Lastly; I am a top tier player in AFKJ, and I have spent no money on this game, so can someone please tell me how tf people can put so much damage on bosses? Is it really that pay to win?

Thanks for the tips. I figured out a lot of that on my own, but I didn't realize how the affinity rewards worked. I power leveled Vala up to max when I found out about it and got all her rewards and a title for maxing her out, and then started to power level up Brutus, but I just switched tactics because of this video and had a bunch of flowers to share to get almost everyone up to 100 :)
Been enjoying the game a lot! So much more polished than most games releasing these days and with your coverage it has made for a very enjoyable launch! Keep up the great work and mediocre pronunciation!
I've seen your videos for a while now (since afk arena) and your tips helped me a lot into playing this games smarter and so far I think I haven't done any major mistakes. Congrats on 5k. One mistake I made was thinking I needed a few dps characters in my team. I got stuck quite a bit pushing through the story or afk stages and found that 2 tanks, 2 healers and 1 dps helped push me multiple battles beyond what I was otherwise capable of.

I'm all about making mistakes in the beginning of a game. Like not changing my wishlist or leveling up the wrong heroes. I mean i was focusing on the hamsters 😂. But luckily, i catch that after day 2.

it's a good sense to max AFK stages as much as your team allows you before logging off for long hours so you could have more exp and especially powder upon logging back in. also, if you're not pressed for some materials immediately, i would advise getting your daily box with 2 hours worth of afk rewards in the end of the day, not in the beginning, because during the day you might be able to level up and push some extra stages and get more rewards from the box. so basically, before logging off to sleep: afk stages as far as you can, then box. ofc you might need it early if these rewards will help you break the wall, but if not, getting it after everything is maxed out is more profitable

it's amusing how playing AFK Arena for 8 years taught me a ton for this game despite having some different rules now, i'm a 10mil player as of writing this in the Beta Servers.
Been enjoying messing around with several meme teams and mostly using the more unused units (Like Silvina who is a monster in this game)
Personally, just like AFK Arena, they need to already Hard Nerf Rowen... as he's already broken PvP fights and imbalancing things like the early days of AFK Arena, also Cecia needs a slight nerf to how Bulky she is herself, as it's hard to punish her as a Ranger when her HP is closer to that of a Warrior...

As a low spender i have just found a way to max any event character for alot cheaper, you can continually buy the "classic gazette" pack for £5 so you keep getting 3000 gems, whereas you would usually have to pay 10x more for 3000 gems, this way makes buying gems so cheap for any event character
