When i was younger i remember me and my brother watching some wrestling show but ive not been able to find it anywhere, i knew it wasnt any of the wrestling promotions around these days, after finding this im pretty sure this was it, the WCW thing must be what was confusing me into thinking it was a wrestling show, all i could remember was a stable of black wrestlers, and a bald referee who wore shorts (i thought it must've been slick johnson) but now all this adds up, did t-money used to come in with a briefcase full of money or something and did he have a championship belt at one point?
The WCW angle was cringe, even for a show like this. The Battledome guys were absolutely burying the WCW guys by calling wrestling fake and saying the dome is a real competition (judging by the shots those guys were taking - yeah, it was). WCW 2000 was such a trainwreck.
What really pissed me off about Battle Dome was that they only chose Average Joe style competitors and not guys who looked similar in appearance to the Battle Dome roster and that made the competition at a huge disadvantage from square one.What puzzles me was that in the late 90s/early 2000s you couldn't miss seeing some roided douchebag pantload who thought he was a bouncer/wrestler/mma killing machine yet not one single time did you ever see dudes like that challenging the Battle Dome roster,frustrating.
I have to applaud the courage you have to enter the dome with these dudes but from what you say the producers didn't what the contestants to be on equal footing with the BD roster.I would have enjoyed seeing Michael O Dell (sp) go head to head with Ken Shamrock or Sid Vicious.

The WCW thing was WCW being desperate to get people to watch their shows, which failed, since some time after, they got sold to WWE.
Season 1 had the battle dome belt and a ranking board and he had the posse and briefcase. I need these dvds somehow.
