I was on the TV Show Battledome Terry Crews (T-Money), Jesse James Outlaw, Ed Lover NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED Battle Dome was a syndicated (Sony) television series that aired from September 1999 to April 2001. It combined elements of American Gladiators - inspired athletic competition with scripted antics reminiscent of professional wrestling.

The WCW angle was cringe, even for a show like this. The Battledome guys were absolutely burying the WCW guys by calling wrestling fake and saying the dome is a real competition (judging by the shots those guys were taking - yeah, it was). WCW 2000 was such a trainwreck.
Also wcw was cheap. This angle ended because wcw didn’t want to pay for the battle dome guys travel. This angle was actually wcw’s idea.

WMAC Masters and Battledome came out around the same time. Even though I liked the martial arts choreography of WMAC Masters, Battledome was American Gladiators of the late 90s
