The Best Post Hole Auger Stand You Can MAKE!

I made this Land Pride PD10 auger stand out of wood a few years back and it was already getting unstable! Today I fix that by replacing the reclaimed wood with AC2/green treated lumber. I also use nails this time in conjunction with screws instead of only using screws.
I use this 3 foot Auger with my sub compact Kubota BX23s tractor.

I love my backhoe! That thing is the only reason we kept the sub compact around after buying a bigger tractor!

I just posted an image of the stand with the dimensions on my "Community" tab. Please reference that for more detail. Key dimensions are: 26" wide, 66" tall with the bottom of the bracket being 4" from the top of the footing.

I wonder can those augers be rented? I need to install lots and lots of fence posts.

I have seen them around my local stores. You might have something near you as well.
The thing comes in handy, you probably wouldn't be upset if you bought one.
