Spurs should have got rid of him earlier . We hardly missed him last season and should have finished top 4 had it not been having to offer Man city a bye. All the times Spurs qualified for champions league, Kane was injured, yet he'd turn up at the finals and we'd lose. The champions league final a prime example. About comparing Rice vs Rodri, am sorry mates, but Rice is.not anywhere near Rodri. Yes, Rice has the potential to be a top defensive midfielder, but lacks the experience and tactics to go to the next level.
    Hopefully, with Arteta at Arsenal, Rice will grow and become a force in the England midfield in the years to come.

  • @EJ-jw9ow
    @EJ-jw9ow หลายเดือนก่อน

    Harry Kane is probably, legitimately 10x the footballer of Ollie Watkins. No one disputes that. And yet if Watkins played Kane's minutes in this Euro Tourney, England scores AT LEAST 5 more goals. I wholeheartedly believe that. Kane's lack of movement/mobility, and his lack of willingness to just be a #9 goal scorer was the main reason the English attack were so inept. Kane thinks hes a freaking midfielder, and the butterfly effect is how much it diminishes Jude & Fodens ability to be at their creative best. This team needs a TRUE #9, even if he isnt half as talented as Kane. The FIT is what matters.

  • @garywallace5602

  • @arsenalmanic

    Foden apart from 5 min against Holland was pathetic all TM. Walker at RB in back 3 was clueless. The oceans of space he left for both goals as well as the Spain attempt straight after their 1st goal was glaring errors.
    Bellingham was average. Rice was average. Trippier was awful. Stones was iffy. Kane was abysmal. A lamp post would’ve showed more movement. Number of times Saka got behind the line of defence, put the ball in the 18 yrs box , no Kane , no Foden , or another player getting into the box
    The biggest culprit is the rotten FA for picking these woeful managers and sticking with them forever. England squad was in their prime with host of establishment household names playing key roles at the biggest clubs in Europe. England were actually made pre tournament favs, yet Southgate played this rubbish style of non football and England only played one half of decent football all TM ( 1st half against Holland )
    Don’t forget England also had the much easier half of the draw

  • @dendemano

    Southgate has to take the ultimate responsibility for his decision to play an under par Kane in all of the games during the tournament. He has cost us a chance to win silverware in three tournaments. He is guilty of allowing an aging, slow, and goal shy Italian team to play in the exact manner they would have liked. The fittest squad with the most pace and scored the most goals, who was a goal up inside 5 minutes, but sat back and made it easy for Italy. They couldn’t believe their luck. We should have gone full out and blew them away. We could have won it in the first half.
    This tournament. Well, it’s obvious to everyone who knows anything about football. We got to the final because individual players displayed their talent in a flash of brilliance during a desperate time. They were then called upon to revert back into their usual defensive style of sitting back and allowing the opposing team to counter.
    96. The pass he made to the German keeper, which was actually supposed to be a penalty.
    Thanks Simpgate.

    100% agree with him on this Kane is not the answer, we desperately needed a number 9 that provided that threat in and around the box. He was off the pace all tournament. None of the main guys blazed themselves in glory. And it took Palme, Watkins, Toney and Saka to really make us appear as if we had anything to us. To move forward we should consider a change in captain as well as manager. I dont think Kane is the guy. Southgate was right to stand down.

    Agree with Rory. The amount of times I counted only one of two players running into the box when one of the wide players had it was frightening. England with the technical and pacey players they have NEED a striker with pace that gets in behind. Counted multiple times that Kane was positioned in his own half, with the rest of the team to be fair.
