Let's be real here... he does youtube videos as his job basically and doing one about the final is almost guaranteed one of the most successful videos from euro 2024 so this will generate the most money for him. He would have missed his mom's birthday and sister's graduation, no matter who was playing the final. He would just have said it's for other reasons. If it would have been any country like Georgia, Slovenia, Slovakia or others, it would have been for some historical moment. If it would have been Turkey, it would have been for the outstanding fans, that were creating a atmosphere like it's played at home, or some other reason. Spain fully deserved that trophy, they've been the best team throughout the tournament, no questions about that. Look whom they beat en route to the final. Defending champions Italy, silver & bronze World medalists Croatia, hosts & 3x winners Germany, World champions in 2018 and runner-ups in 2022 France... And they were never even close to being eliminated. Whilst England had a much easier bracket and had to come from behind in every single knockout match, if the ref just gave 4 mins instead of 6 mins in the last 16 game against Slovakia, you would've been going home after that match. So all you English fans shouldn't be that disappointed because of that loss, it's a miracle your team even made it to the final with that level of play.

We only got to the finals because we played against the easier teams, used boring parking the bus tactics and relied on individual magic moments (Bellingham bicycle kick, Watkins last minute goal, Palmer’s equaliser) and luck.

I'm german, but always had a soft spot for England and their footballing culture and fan culture (I mean my name makes it obvious that I support Liverpool for 2 decades now, have also been to the UK a couple of times).
As soon as Germany went out, I rooted for England. As I'm living in Berlin I knew that if England get to the final, I just had to be in the city partying with the english fans and I went there (Alexanderplatz / Hackescher Markt) and the atmosphere was electric. I talked to a few people and even told them I'm german, but rooting for England etc. and I know all the songs and they welcomed me. I had such a great time, such cool people, lots of beer, loud singing and bantering. Even though England did not win it, I will never ever forget this sunday afternoon, drinking and singing with the english fans. So all I can say from a personal point of view is Thank You to your lot and I mean that from the bottom of my heart!♥♥

As England fan who experienced my fair share of these moments since 1990. I would have loved to win, but this loss was actually the easiest to take. As in truth we were awful all tournament, Spain deserved to win the match and completely dominated us. At times Pickford was further foward than Kane.. If we had won, it would have been the biggest theft committed by England against the Spanish since Elizabeth 1st sent Drake to plunder Spanish gold...

Spain totally deserved to win the euros. Such a wonderful team with talented players who showed intent and fire on the field throughout the tournament and played extraordinary football. They have won all matches with relatively competitive teams so they were 100% deserving of this trophy.

Spain was just the better team. Not only in the final, in which they could score easily 3 or 4 goals, but in the whole tournament, beating all the biggest teams (England, France, Germany, Italy, Croacia) and winning all 7 games, something never seen before.
