His singing has flow.. like a river that captures a whole territory, doesn’t leave one bit unturned. Even knowing all the technical side, a person can’t really dissect his technique. Surely it must come from the context of his person, natural mode of operation and mind. Greatest artist of all times.

Audience sounds loud.It appears to be a small private mehfil as people sound very familiar to him while interacting. But one thing he says during the performance is true. Whichever ghazal he sang it was always in different style and that was the beauty of his singing! Simply great!

Thanks for uploading. This version I have not heard before. What I love about him is when he sings you can feel the emotions of the poetry. The other thing is his rendition is completely different for each of the ghazals where are others famous singers have one signature style and all the ghazals are sung that way. In Maestro's case each one is different and still you know it is Mehdi Hassan style.

He was so innovative that on all india radio interview said my all previous work is scrap coz atank sur is my goal n it is still far.for most this work is still untouchable.he invented ghazal n took it to the heights where we are blind to see same way.
Seems The Lord Creator takes Personal interest in the creation of certain mortals to bless them with immortality :Menhdi Hassan saab is certainly one of Them.
