    I've been spinning 15 yrs. and have never done a core spin! You're giving me the itch to do it. Love how the colors you chose blended together. The finished yarn is gorgeous. Be blessed.

    Thank you for sharing your fiber adventures. It is always a pleasure to watch your videos and I learn so many new things while I laugh at your bloopers! I like how you keep it real and genuine. My little dog sits right next to me while I spin, too! Thanks again!

    That boucle-ish art yarn was to DIE for. I can't wait to see what the final project looks like. The more I watch your channel the more I understand the process of spinning. I'm still slowly trundling through my raw fleeces, but I bought a drum carder about 3 weeks ago and...life changer. Thanks for always sharing your creativity and passion 🐑❤

    Thanks for posting this. My kids (both adults now 27 &34) asked me what I want for Christmas. I told them I really would love a jumbo flyer for my Ashford Kiwi 3 so I could try spinning art yarn for weaving. I did tell them to please maybe go in jointly since I know it's a very expensive item and I felt bad asking for something so expensive but it truly is what I would love to get for Christmas. This video is inspiring. So if I should be fortunate enough to maybe get the jumbo flyer for Christmas. I will be excited to try this type of spinning. It looks really fun to spin. 🤞🎄🎁

    WOW...your hair looks AMAZING in that last segment.
    "Boo"cle, hahahaha. I make me laugh. I do love a boucle though. I'll spin a crazy single and then wrap it with a coordinating thread, and sometimes cross the thread backwards on the ply for a bit of texture. For some reason, I can't get into corespun, but maybe one day! I hope you are having a fun and creative week, too, just like you wished for all of us.

    Okay, first of all, I super LOVE your hair in the "next day" part of the video, I suspect you will say that you didn't do anything to it, but regardless it is amazing!! Second of all I have a question because I don't know much about it, isn't corespun usually/often left as singles and can it be spun to be smoother and less art yarn style? I thought I had seen some like that somewhere else, and now I am confused. I am so glad you are showing us all the different variations, it's opening up so many possibilities!! Bring on 2023 (but not too fast, I'm not actually ready 😂), I'm down for the hanging out and seeing where your journey takes you!! Love you !!!❤❤❤

  • @Rowanstarr
    @Rowanstarr 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    What do you use for your core?

  • @Which-Craft
    @Which-Craft 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Please help me out here - since you're core spinning from the batt, is it boucle? Wouldn't a spun single on a core be true "corespun"? I'm so confused on the terminology in this instance.

    • @Which-Craft
      @Which-Craft 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      wait, what? you're plying it, too? (can you tell I'm commenting in process?) now I'm really confuzzled! does this help stabilize the single?

    • @FiberLoveDiary
      @FiberLoveDiary  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      A real boucle would not be done with corespun, that's why I said boucle-esque. I said it's not a true single, a true single also wouldn't have a core, but it's a true corespun yarn.
      And yep, lots of plying happens with corespun yarns. They just aren't a true boucle because of the core
