Not bad. Next time don't add the boiling water to the spinach, just stick the pot over the heat, add some butter and spinach, they will could in a minute or two. When you take the steak out drain off some oil, add some cream and cracked black pepper, touch of whiskey if you like then scrape all that lovely flavour off the bottom of the pan. You got yourself a fantastic pan sauce.
Found this recipe while doing research for my blog for Trangia Recipes. You are ranking top page, nice work.

That would be nice. Spinach is very versatile.

Great video. No worries about the mushroom bud, they grew in the grass anyway.

Great video on wild cooking in Scotland! I'm looking to either make, or buy a Ritnifjell Trangia Grill for my 25. This would be the only improvement I I could offer after watching your effort. I'm a new subscriber and look forward to seeing more great videos from you.

Thank you, you are very kind. I did consider making a grill for the Trangia. The grate from my Winnerwell Fire Pit would fit on the trangia quite well, I just need metal disc to hang from the grate. It might make a mess of the windshield but they are easy enough to clean.
The gas converter for the Trangia was the best thing I've added since this video. The 4.5l billy can has just come back in stock so I'll probably add one of those next and try to bake bread.

Good looking meal. Trangias are great systems.
A lot of flame in the cooker what type of fuel were you using?

You are right, I didn't notice how fiery it looks. It's just regular methylated spirit. It was quite windy that day.

does adding the mushrooms effect the taste of the steak? i dont like mushrooms so if i made this i would prefere to remove them but i dont know if removing them would affect the taste of the steak?

It's no problem to have it without mushrooms. I only cooked them like this because I had one pan! I'd not cook it like this at home.
Ribeye is the nicest steak, in my opinion, and doesn't really need anything added but you could add a bit of butter towards the end with some rosemary.
