To anyone confused it's a podcast that has been reformatted for TH-cam. If you prefer you can just listen to this as a podcast but this version takes advantage of being a video by adding content that you don't see in the podcast.
Haven't watched the whole video yet, but the editing is sooo interesting. Sort of a modern version of old-school radio storytelling (the way she reads, her tone of voice, the calming graphics, instead of the flashy, fast, dramatic cuts and special effects to gain your attention and overestimulates your brain - used everywhere and by everyone, due to the short attention span everyone is suffering nowadays) + journalism of top tier quality! And not to mention, this is an absolute dream for every online content manager, 'cause it can be reused for podcast, radio, and not just TH-cam, IG/Tiktok, etc. Wow. Just wow.
I also knew an Indonesian writer/journalist and later well known as the host of the culinary TV program "Wisata Kuliner" writing on the same topic about Bre-X and de Guzman. The video story reminds me of the works by Bondan a long time ago.

This was VERY big news in Canada at the time. We got updates on the whole story, but it's interesting to review it. There are still many mysteries in this. Around the same time, there was a bombing of low paid strikers at a gold mine in Canada. Not BY the strikers, but OF them. I believe it was called the Giant Gold Mine. It turned out it was done by the mine's owners. Greed makes some people into monsters!

So you can detect a potential scam as they're still happening...one is building up since 2010? In Niagara/ Ste Catherine region while it is not billions many already lost their lives saving. (The wife of the scamer is doing some spooky activities...holistic healing or hypnotizing ? )

Shoots tourist dead point blank.. apparently the story goes that was THE one song you never sang, some karaoke bars banned the song: due to the number of murders & violence attributed to the song...dont know if its true..
Yea... actually the dude is still alive, last seen in the Philippines. A lot of people old enough and specializing in mining sector stocks know he's still alive. Apparently a few geologist with a few stock analyst saw him in a dinner and everyone stood up and clapping

@daveselbow9128 I'd be willing to bet this is a story of fraud. The constantly improving core sample reports brought me to the conclusion of malfeasance. Smarter frauds might've submitted one or more unfavorable reports to lend credulity.
It's a podcast, minimally repackaged for YT. To those who didn't know about the story, it's the equivalent of reading a long article. Given the true shape of our planet, it's wild to behold stamped feet about the pettiest of things.
