@Omar Beydoun It's not, though. I would prefer if they had more than just combat as a means of getting through quests but there's only so much you can do with an MMORPG's questing system. It's a really cool concept considering that even if it was just a cosmetic in the game, you can categorize player by these lightsaber crystals they posses. In starwars lore though, instead of having a variety of colors with thier lighsaber. A jedi can be distinguished based on thier hilt designs. I personally love the inclusion of the Pink-Red Crystal in this game. It’s a red saber color that much more resembles the deep red color Vader’s saber has on it in the Original Trilogy. I used to craft the magenta back in the day, way before the crates existed. Had to grind the schematic and everything. It was nice having to work for something and really earning it.
After I watched this video, I was keen to get a fancy color crystal for my Sith Juggernaut. The couple of weeks later, a Sovereign Gold and Blue Color Crystal was available on the GTN. Looking good and sporting a +41 to Crit, I snatched it up. What I wanted to mention was that not only was this a beauty to behold when drawn, but, when I used my Saber Throw skill, the whirling colors of this fancy crystal were breathtaking! 😎
The White Core crystal was just for sale in 1.0 for a time for 5mil credits (back then a fortune) before they removed it and brought back years after on the CM.
I picked up a cool crystal color today thanks a kind fellow, I got a Cyan Blue War Hero Crystal, it’s pretty awesome and looks amazing, even with my upgraded knights saber.
The Swashbuckler's Black Blue Striated crystal, my older Brother parted with WoW to begin SW:ToR when it released, he earned it with his Sith and his Jedi, he still treasure these above all!
So about 3 months after launch in SWTOR the white color crystal was made available in the VIP vendor on the fleet for 1 million credits. the vendor also sold the korrelias commander mount for 2.5 million.
Oh yeah!!! I forgot about that! I think I got the rate wrong for the white crystal story, looks like it was right before they came out on the vendor www.reddit.com/r/swtor/comments/p3fp1/white_crystal_obtained_through_cheating/
My top 10 favorite crystals, that I have managed to unlock from the GTN and cartel markets include the following! 1. Advanced Blue Outline Indestructible Crystal (white core, light cyan outline) 2. Advanced Sea Green War Hero's Crystal (seafoam green core, not outline) 3. Advanced Blue-Cyan-Indigo Eviscerating Crystal (dark greyish blue core, brightish blue outline) 4. Advanced Cyan-Blue Indestructible Crystal (medium blue core, deep blue outline) 5. Advanced Orange-Red Indestructible Crystal (deep orange core, deep red outline) 6. Advanced Charred Orange Indestructible Crystal (charcoal core, greyish orange outline) 7. Advanced Black-Orange Indestructible Crystal (black core, yellowish-orange outline) 8. Advanced Pink-Purple Eviscerating Crystal (indigo core, purple outline) 9. Advanced Fire Orange Evercerating Crystal (light orange core, bright yellow outline) 10. Advanced Black-Red Striated Hawkeye Crystal (Black core, bright red outline) - This is by far my all-time favorite crystal because it goes so well with my all-time favorite dye color (Black/Red) And if I were to add a few honorable mentions, they'd include the Advanced Orange-gold War Hero's Crystal (Bright orange core, pale yellow outline), the Advanced Ice blue War Hero's Crystal (Dark greyish blue core, near-white blue outline), the Advanced Fushia Indestructible Crystal (White core, pale indigo outline), and the Advanced Imperial Crimson War Hero's Crystal (Pale white core, blood-red outline)
I really wanna get the game so I can grind for the black core lightsaber with the silver energy and get myself a cross guard lightsaber so I can be the Mandalorian Sith Lord I’ve always wanted to be.
@@Kronosxviii1 Not sure if it's the current canon, but at one point it was canon that the only way to get a red crystal, was to take a blue or green one, and corrupt it with pain and hate. In one of the comics Vader (after killing a Jedi and taking his lightsaber) took a crystal to a dark side cave on mustafar, where he then poured his hate and pain into the crystal to corrupt it (there was also a hallucination where he turned to the light side and killed Sheev, but that's not related). I believe to get a white crystal you basically need to undo the corruption, probably by filling it with light side energy, but that won't give back the original colour, but instead will make it white. The white crystal part is just what I remember hearing, so take that with a grain of salt
Hey just wanted to say I got the white-purple-blue crystal thanks to this video. I also joined your guild recently and am happy to be in it, need to complete my application stuff however in time.
i always feel a sense of pride when i see my black-yellow crystal, or as i like to call it, the "Pre-order crystal". i don't even know why i feel that pride, i rarely use that crystal.
lemme introduce you to the Star Wars EU lore, red can be either synthetic or corrupted crystal(any color of crystal that were subdued to the will of a dark jedi by using the dark side to crush the crystal's will) and white is actually the reverse thing. It CAN be created by infusing a once corrupted crystal with light side, kinda like reviving it and purging the dark side from the crystal, which will take the silver/white color if the purge is succesful. Ahsoka Tano likely got her silver blade by this mean
I didn't see one that looks like mine. I'll have to send you a screen shot. I've had it for years and move it to a new light saber each time. It was a gift from someone in the first guild I was ever in on my Jedi consular. She is 100% light side but the crystal in her saber has a black core and dark purple aura. I love the crystal color and will continue to use it, though you would think it was a dark side user welding it.
I like the good and old Red Crystal for my Siths, the Pink Red is also cool, because remembers me of one edition of the original Star Wars where Vader saber looked magenta.
I absolutely love the white color crystal, I use it for my main, a Jedi Knight. I can't wait for the day when they actually release a pure black crystal, which will go to my Sith Warrior.
i used to switch between two on my sith warrior. The rare green pvp crystal and the red one that is like darth vader's lightsaber color. I remember logging in with my character a while back, people were asking me about my skins and crystals. Found it weird , but figured they started removing older stuff.
Disclaimer: to those who are preferred players that have kotfe, and want to equip the eternal championship crystals, you need artifact authorization to equip them
My favorite crystals to use are the movie accurate crystals (Farmhand Blue, Desert Green, and Imperial Red(?)) Viridian, Silver-Cyan, and Black-Red striated (especially for unstable sabers.)
I got a cheap White core with a little of blue and some purple at the cartel market, perfect for my watchman sentinel. I love white core for jedis and black core for siths.
It's a real shame that they don't add most of these to official canon. Fun fact though, a lot of these do in fact exist outside of of TOR. StupendousWave has done a series of videos detailing different crystals used and the blades they produce.
Post exploit, and pre update(can't remember which), White Crystals were briefly available on the fleet for 1 million, and 1.5 million credits. My first character still uses a pair. Ah the Megenta treasure hunt... good times, almost as good as the all stats? Datacron run on the fleet.
@@Swtorista On a second look, maybe they're not crafted. I looked them up on the GTN and saw 3 on my server, a few million credits each, but they didn't have the "Crafted by ___" tag on them. So idk where the people selling them got them.
My goal in the game is not to master pvp, not to finish stories... but to collect all the side stuff like toys and pets and mounts and most importantly, color crystals. So ye, I enjoyed this vid very much
Predacious Gold Green looks so good. So does the Rakghoul saber, but a bit less so IMO. Not too sure what to think of black core, or even color core lightsabers.
I have 3 of these white crystals...I got them back in 2011 like around a year after the game launched. I got a total of 3 of them and I paid like 1 million credits each...which was a TON of credits in 2011. Its called like the White War Hero's Crystal. I got all 3 before the Hutt Cartel came out.
I bought the SWTOR Razer mouse back in the day and often get asked about the crystal :) nice to have something a little special I guess. Can i ask what hilt that is at 0:22?
I have a pink or ''light red'' now, on one of my first characters, looks great with the purple lightnight and the blue and green sabers of the companion but I've never been able to find one again
(note has spoilers for the mandalorian show if you haven;t seen it) fun fact in star wars as a whole in gaming black core sabers have been around since the first lego star wars game on the handheld versions if i remember correctly but made its biggest impression on star wars the force unleashed and has been added in star wars games till swtor being the last consule game they were brought in and other times through mods now the newest offical game content with black lightsabers is through a few characters in the ea mobile starwars galaxy of heroes game with sabine from rebels and moff gideon from the mandalorian

Swtorista yeeeeeeeeeee :D
Heck yea! I have been waiting for this one! Cheers!
Best SWTOR channel on youtube. Thanks for the content.
I like this. This will hlp me when im getting really deep into this game. Thanks man!!
Cheers!
Lovely !! i recall in an older video you talked about working in crystal industry
Yep! Where Star Wars and real life overlap :D
I remember when they first brought out the pink-purple crystal back before they had the collections implemented where if you wanted two of them you had to get two. I spent so many credits buying two off the auction for my sith to dual wield them. Even now having a ton of over colors open to me that's the color i go with on that sith.
I've only just gotten into this game, it's really cool seeing stuff I'm nowhere near unlocking.
Once again, the force takes you into its confidence, imparts its secrets with you so that you may spread the knowledge of what you have learned. A truly powerful connection to the force that benefits us all. The force moves around you in mysterious ways yet not concerning. More often than not, after hearing the information you've shared, I must admit to a need to visit with all of the Jedi in our guild. Masters, Knights, Padawans and Initiates. As I will do again. May the force ever guide you. (bows head)
I'm glad the crystal lore has encouraged you to connect with your guildmates.
Awesome vid Swtorista! My two favorite crystals are the green empeth and advanced blue outline.
The empeth is really neat! I like the name a lot too
I used to craft the magenta back in the day, way before the crates existed. Had to grind the schematic and everything. It was nice having to work for something and really earning it.
yes was very neat back then!
I start swtor 2014.. I love it.

White Crystals now Have a Canon Lore, and are Former Red Crystal that suffered The Bleeding and was Cleansed, so It becomes Silver or White...
I think this one's really beautiful. I'm not usually a fan of contrasting colors but this one is 👌
You are really making me want to build my computer now and get SWTOR as soon as possible.
I think the black purple striated crystal that was a subscriber reward from 2015 would have been worth mentioning since it's fairly unique
Very cool!
Swtorista thanks, I intend on getting more crystals and sabers.
The Swashbuckler's Black Blue Striated crystal, my older Brother parted with WoW to begin SW:ToR when it released, he earned it with his Sith and his Jedi, he still treasure these above all!
Makes me want to play a game I’ve only played once
So about 3 months after launch in SWTOR the white color crystal was made available in the VIP vendor on the fleet for 1 million credits. the vendor also sold the korrelias commander mount for 2.5 million.
Oh yeah!!! I forgot about that! I think I got the rate wrong for the white crystal story, looks like it was right before they came out on the vendor www.reddit.com/r/swtor/comments/p3fp1/white_crystal_obtained_through_cheating/
My top 10 favorite crystals, that I have managed to unlock from the GTN and cartel markets include the following!
1. Advanced Blue Outline Indestructible Crystal (white core, light cyan outline)
2. Advanced Sea Green War Hero's Crystal (seafoam green core, not outline)
3. Advanced Blue-Cyan-Indigo Eviscerating Crystal (dark greyish blue core, brightish blue outline)
4. Advanced Cyan-Blue Indestructible Crystal (medium blue core, deep blue outline)
5. Advanced Orange-Red Indestructible Crystal (deep orange core, deep red outline)
6. Advanced Charred Orange Indestructible Crystal (charcoal core, greyish orange outline)
7. Advanced Black-Orange Indestructible Crystal (black core, yellowish-orange outline)
8. Advanced Pink-Purple Eviscerating Crystal (indigo core, purple outline)
9. Advanced Fire Orange Evercerating Crystal (light orange core, bright yellow outline)
10. Advanced Black-Red Striated Hawkeye Crystal (Black core, bright red outline) - This is by far my all-time favorite crystal because it goes so well with my all-time favorite dye color (Black/Red)
And if I were to add a few honorable mentions, they'd include the Advanced Orange-gold War Hero's Crystal (Bright orange core, pale yellow outline), the Advanced Ice blue War Hero's Crystal (Dark greyish blue core, near-white blue outline), the Advanced Fushia Indestructible Crystal (White core, pale indigo outline), and the Advanced Imperial Crimson War Hero's Crystal (Pale white core, blood-red outline)
I really wanna get the game so I can grind for the black core lightsaber with the silver energy and get myself a cross guard lightsaber so I can be the Mandalorian Sith Lord I’ve always wanted to be.
It's a free game
I dun have a pc for gaming
Terentius Moonborn this game plays on pretty much anything. Dont need good specs or anything so will play fine on an old laptop.
UzumakiThinker really? :3 hey, thanks!
Terentius Moonborn no problem I play the game on a really shit pc and have have no problems.
Ahsoka Tahno had white lightsaber's in that one animated show that I can't remember the name of for the life of me, making them canon by Disney.
rebels
a red Saber that has the dark side cleansed from it turns white
@@ongobongo8333 Is that current cannon or legends?
@@Kronosxviii1 I think its the current canon, if I'm not wrong if you did that in legend it turned orange?
The white crystal part is just what I remember hearing, so take that with a grain of salt
my Sith uses a Pink Magenta Crystal & a Blue Almond - which is my favorite one I obtained so far
Hey just wanted to say I got the white-purple-blue crystal thanks to this video. I also joined your guild recently and am happy to be in it, need to complete my application stuff however in time.
Good luck with your trials! :)
@@Swtorista Thank you! I do hope to contribute to the guild and possibly even see you in-game.
Just started watching your videos as I came back to SWTOR and you have great content. That’s a sub from me.
cheer!
I always liked the Farmhand Blue and Desert Green Crystals. They just feel very much like Star Wars Sabers.
same with your standard red.
I adore you for still playing the game
i always feel a sense of pride when i see my black-yellow crystal, or as i like to call it, the "Pre-order crystal". i don't even know why i feel that pride, i rarely use that crystal.
wish we could get max stats on it. Then i would use it more often :P
I really dig the Black-Red Crystal for my Sith Warrior.
My Jedi has yellow with a pink core and my Sith has blue with black core. Looks awesome
My sorcerer had a purple lightsaber when i played years ago :D
Nice Video! My fav color is the Darksaber color. it is just so unique!
I wonder if we'll ever see it ingame!
@@Swtorista It would make for a good event reward! And it can be used by both jedi and sith
thanks for your awesome voice, i dont even know how i ended up here but im happy i did, thanks
thanks for all you do
lemme introduce you to the Star Wars EU lore, red can be either synthetic or corrupted crystal(any color of crystal that were subdued to the will of a dark jedi by using the dark side to crush the crystal's will) and white is actually the reverse thing.
It might be one of the few retired ones I didn't show!
Disclaimer: to those who are preferred players that have kotfe, and want to equip the eternal championship crystals, you need artifact authorization to equip them
A true hero of galaxy! Thank you very much! :)
My favorite crystals to use are the movie accurate crystals (Farmhand Blue, Desert Green, and Imperial Red(?)) Viridian, Silver-Cyan, and Black-Red striated (especially for unstable sabers.)
Imperial Crimson
I got a cheap White core with a little of blue and some purple at the cartel market, perfect for my watchman sentinel. I love white core for jedis and black core for siths.
It's a real shame that they don't add most of these to official canon. Fun fact though, a lot of these do in fact exist outside of of TOR. StupendousWave has done a series of videos detailing different crystals used and the blades they produce.
Very cool!
Can you tell me what's the outfit at 00:30 please?
Post exploit, and pre update(can't remember which), White Crystals were briefly available on the fleet for 1 million, and 1.5 million credits. My first character still uses a pair. Ah the Megenta treasure hunt... good times, almost as good as the all stats? Datacron run on the fleet.
There is a crafted black core green crystal. They're somewhat rare, and can be pricey, but I've bought some before from the GTN.
Oh very interesting I'll have to keep my eyes open for it.
@@Swtorista On a second look, maybe they're not crafted. I looked them up on the GTN and saw 3 on my server, a few million credits each, but they didn't have the "Crafted by ___" tag on them. So idk where the people selling them got them.
The Sovereign Gold and Blue Color Crystal just went Super Sayian Blue, and it's over 9000!
My goal in the game is not to master pvp, not to finish stories... but to collect all the side stuff like toys and pets and mounts and most importantly, color crystals. So ye, I enjoyed this vid very much
White Crystal ftw. Love those things ever since I first saw a picture of the Imperial Knights.
Great video Ty for posting :-)
I really wish I got more into this MMO. I loved it just never made friends.
swashbuckler black-blue looks cool af
I bought the SWTOR Razer mouse back in the day and often get asked about the crystal :) nice to have something a little special I guess.
Can i ask what hilt that is at 0:22?
Argh sorry I'm not sure.
Oh. Luke's green lightsabre makes a bunch of sense based on his path
You can get the yellow crystal from the padawan lovers quest on tython
Good tip!
I have a pink or ''light red'' now, on one of my first characters, looks great with the purple lightnight and the blue and green sabers of the companion but I've never been able to find one again
do u know what game this is ?
I know it's off topic, but as a SWTOR noob I'm curious, what's the name of the armor used in the intro for black core sabers at 6:25?
i love that fire orange saber, reminds me of the original movie poster.
For the white crystal cartel market or gtn the player who manage to obtain without legitimate means. Is Kirito from Sword Art Online but on SWTOR.
