If anybody thinks that winning the Conference league is below us then they don't remember the mid eighties when a day out at Wembley, playing in the final of the Full Members Cup against Man City was considered a wonderful achievement. That was a great day out. The stadium was packed, mostly with Chelsea fans, and we cheered our way to victory like it was the FA Cup final. Also the Zenith Systems Data Cup, a few seasons later, against Middlesbrough. We had the best fans back then, home and away, and every competition we played in really meant something!.

In defense we concede 1.5 goals per game because our current defenders not good enough. Keeper included. Another important issue is that defenders cannot cooperate with our midfielders. We need to work and train harder. In midfield area and generally, the biggest problem is Enzo. Slow, fatigue, clueless, ruining our game and chances. Without Enzo we are faster, better in transition and more efficient. So Lavia and Caicedo have to start. In offense, we have vast talent but problem is Jackson. He is immature, do not pass and not efficient. Receiving silly yellows and is a complicated personality. We need a striker, too, in January.
If you factor in Age you’ll realize that Jackson’s output is actually better than osimhen. Jackson has a really good touch, he dribbles well and he is 23. He got over 14 goals in his first season as a striker. The guy will get better

I think as per the striker you are missing something here. Yes goals stats is right up there, but the influence on opposition defence to create other scoring opportunities to our wide players you can get that with Jackson. We need striker that can draw more attention from defenders to free space for other players.

George my only concern is that CFC owners n our sporting directors has done disservice to this big club by failing to sign a prolific goal scorer before the summer window closed becos that was our main problem last season when Jackson was wasteful in front of goal like we should've been in the top 4 so most of we the fans thought signing a prolific striker supposed to be our main priority but failing to sign either Osimhen, Gyokeres or even Jhon Duran before the summer window closed to me was a massive disappointment. But our main plan is to be in possession of the ball at all times and make sure we don't get the quick transitions that we score from? It's a good plan, don't get me wrong, but maybe it shouldn't be the only plan. And if it is the only plan then we should probably invest some effort into figuring out why it isn't working just yet. The way I see it, we have two reliable goal scorers and maybe Madueke is turning into one. But our gameplay is based on getting Palmer away from the box, where he's the most dangerous, and really not doing a lot to get Nkunku at the end of the chances? Instead we're seemingly looking to use Jackson as a finisher, which is never going to work, and we're pushing Enzo Fernandez high up the pitch. And the midfield rotation thing is just a mess. Against Palace we saw Fofana rotate out wide, Gusto rotate into midfield, and Caicedo rotate deep into defense while Enzo was transitioning into Palmer's forward role and Palmer fell deep to get the ball moved forward. That's frankly Homer Simpson style nonsense for the sake of doing nonsense. You don't have to be a genius to understand that having half the team rotate into any position other than the one they're good for no real reason in particular will rarely lead to a good outcome. Defense, then. Are we strong and reliable in defense? Not really, because we mostly fail to put a coherent midfield line in front of the defense. Part of that is all the rotating bollocks. Part of it is not asking two 6-capable midfielders of playing a double 6 in front of the defense and shutting down that space so players like Eze aren't completely free to take all the time in the world lining up their shot.
