Hi everyone,
Welcome to this weeks vlog, which as the title suggests, is my last vlog for Cycling Weekly as I am sad to say I am leaving. For this vlog, I decided to do a load more mini reviews of kit I really rate, that I have been using recently. As ever, these are impartial and honest reviews, with nothing paid for.
Lots of you have asked for the DT-Swiss ARC 1100 wheels, so I have included them too.

All good things must come to an end... But WHY?! lol. Like so many others, I've really enjoyed the content Ollie has produced. He's come across as a sound bloke, genuine, sincere and extremely enthusiastic. Watching his vlogs has certainly motivated me to spin my legs just that little bit more. Ollie, you do the best cycling vlogs on TH-cam, hands down. You have a superb natural presenting style. I hope whatever you're moving on to includes continuing to produce great cycling content on YT.

Thanks Ollie. Enjoyed your Yorkshire vibe and the common people's approach to your video blogs. I compare you to the GCN team because I enjoy watching their stuff as well, but your style has been more refreshing. The GCN production often fail to touch at the ground roots of cycling, concentrating lots on what the pros are up to all the time, over induldgeing in unrealistically cycling merchandise, unless you have a £10,000 budget for everything. Well Done lad all the best in your next challenge.
Sorry to see you go, the videos have been a great mix of facts, honest opinion and product promotion (you have to keep the sponsors happy!). Really enjoyed the project videos which have inspired me at least to get more involved in competitive cycling.

The thing with the holes in the bars for the cables annoys me every time. I work in a bike shop and i havs seen lots of bad designs. It increases the friction and shortens a cables lifetime. Absolutely hate it

Just to let people know, vibe aero bars only come in 40/42cm widths. Otherwise I'd already have a set. Ended up with an alloy set of pro plt ergo handlebars and saved myself £220

Weekly Vlogs have been awesome, the content and production has improved week to week and the extended Hill Climb and TT videos were in particular, really excellent productions - had hoped there might have been one coming up on Criterium Racing!! Anyway best of luck Ollie in your new venture whatever that will be!

Really enjoyed these vlogs since discovering them. Shame they're ending. Hopefully you'll do more where ever you end up.
"I've ridden it in hot days"...Yesterday I rode the Vanquish at 42ºC (medium) with a peak of 45ºC. I just wanted to die. The feeling was "no ventilation at all". I've seen Boiled eggs in better shape than my head. Definitely not a summer helmet in really hot countries. I'm sticking with my Synthe until next october.

She is as good OR BETTER than Matt Stephens. She is good on the bike, good in the studio, knows multiple languages. Other major broadcasters with money and reach don’t have a woman commentator. She will be gone to greener pastures in short order..
