Wood Turning - Centrifugal Painting an Ash Bowl using Metallic and Iridescent Colours

This week I decided to try something with colour an make a bowl from a piece of Ash Wood.
I used Metallic and Iridescent Paints from Chestnut in the middle of the bowl then turned on the lathe to create a centrifuge and shoot the paint out to the edges of the bowl.
It was really fun to do and created some amazing colours on the wall behind as well.

That was a great project Caitlan! You are far more adventurous than I when it comes to color (or colour). It is a change from the cling wrap marble look (which I like very much.), and is very attractive! Just wondering how long the wall behind the lathe will stay monotone.
