Nice work. Tip I was given to speed up drying: Using blown heat post spraying risks blowing dust onto surface. Instead, use hairdryer on wood before spraying, that warms it a bit so when you spray it drys quickly without the dust risk! Simple!
Beautiful work and thank you for such a detailed description of the process. You make it look too easy, but I can tell there is a lot of experience behind that work. I especially like the way you developed so many unique patterns with the three colors and the film technique. Very cool ! Thanks for sharing !
Mick, I have a question. I initially attempted to create a platter with the josanna paints, and apparently I overlapped too much, because I had some white markings on the platter, after it had dried. Prior to applying the clear coat, I sanded it back, repainted it black, and will reapply using the technique you just used, using saran wrap, while wiping on the paint with a brush. I just really don't want any white on the platter, if it can be helped. Thanks Tommy Schutz

Wish he would have dine this video in either a private place or found a way to kill the background noise. If those people talking about other things would have not been talking would make it easier to hear and understand.
Thanks for your feedback! This video was recorded spontaneously during the preparation of our big yearly event called Drechseltage (woodturning days) www.drechsel-tage.de. So it was hard to get a quit area. I will try to make another video this year in September, then i will try to "kill" the noise and maybe use a lapel microphone for better voice. Hope this video helped anyway. Thanks again for your feedback and have a nice weekend! Kind regards, Jens Schulte / Drechselbedarf K. Schulte

Stunning love it are you at ukwis this year mate
Well done Keith, very instructive. Thanks.
Does this leave a sort of, plastic type feel to the top? Or does it still have a 'wood grain' feel to it?
The Finish is "plastic" of course
Just lovely......
Lovely job Mick ;0)

How much do you chagre for a bowl?
Neal Olson we dont sell these bowls. If you make a bowl like that, you can charge maybe from 30€ - 60€. Depends on the wood, size and quality.
