I like the non-talking videos, because it shows us what you hear. Which is the wind and falling snow. I don’t need everything explained every single time. 😊
Luke is a professional photographer. He was shooting commissions before his channel took off. The stunning color effects might owe something to his skills at manipulating images.
Love these videos. I can hear wind in the trees sometimes birds. Your footsteps in the snow and sometimes I think I even smell the air too! Thank you for being YOU!!
Luke, I really enjoyed this trip. I love the sound of snow or rain hitting the tent. I would have no problem sleeping. Thanks for sharing. I’ll see you next time. Take care. Tell Susie I said hi and waiting for her next time out….she can stay in your little cabin on the mountain…. 😊🙋🏻♀️
I never noticed you having red rocks and dirt on your mountain. For a minute I thought you were in Arkansas! I know a lot of people like your explanations. I do too. But I like the quiet videos too.
Nice camping Luke! I enjoyed watching the adventure. I watch alot of ASMR Camping videos, one reason is because I'm deaf anyway. And I have to say that of all of them I watch, NONE of them acknowledges the camera, at all. But Luke does and I think it's really cool 😎! I still watch his other channel also and enjoy watching! Keep up the good work Luke! Cheers 🍻 bro!
Hi Luke... with me coming from England ( now reside in Ontario Canada) I have always wondered are you in bear country and doesn't it not faze you camping out ? ATB take care 👍🙏
No voiceover: there are plenty of images that stir the thinking of those of us who have done it (or learned from your videos.) MY OPINION is that you have the tarp draining uphill, where drain water will wash into your shelter area.
Luke i enjoy all your vids on both chanels great content. would like to know more about that l man insta tent looked easy to put up i'm always looking for an easer tent set up?😅
I actually am curious about a recent experience i had with an outdoors gear supply phone call... Unlike ANY other stores, this one played the actual sound, then the name, of different actual animals you might hear or encounter in the wild. Has anyone else come across unexpected, yet appreciated, instances where just a small inclusion like real world animal noises during a hold for assistance on a call just brightens your experience?
Besides testing tents, there is the terrain. Best placement for how Luke wants to use the tarp, may not be good for the tent. The camera does not give an accurate picture of how level the ground is.
I only found his other channel a few years ago and this channel less than a year ago. I don't think he reads our comments/questions, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't respond to them, but maybe he answered why he doesn't camp with a dog before I began watching his channel. Does anyone know? I was just curious because they're excellent for security as well as companionship.
Hi he has mentioned in a video that he doesn't bring his dog because he has a lung condition that prevents him being able to breathe in the particles that dogs give off from their musky dry skin he can't be super close to his dog in other words like sleeping next to it etc hope this helps 👍
Setting up all these cameras is what did you in. I've said it before and I'll say it again just use the go pro on your head. Show us what you're looking at not of you walking by.
Thought the fire starter was a snack and I was just about to send a comment about “ pre digested cra….Had to hustle to delete. Frequently my finger writes faster than my brain dictates.
I usually don't complain about when TH-cam show their food they're about to eat.I know a lot of people don't like it. And some people show their food so close up to the camera it's uncomfortable. If I'm making homemade ice cream or something like that I will show it or the ingredients that are going into the ice cream that I'm inventing or the confetti I'm putting in that are shaped like butterflies I'll show those things But when people put that up to the camera so close to let you know what they're about to eat and when people tell at them that it's uncomfortable or even if they don't like it, And the old man he says yes you do.. I find very toxic because we're not gonna say we don't like it if we do. Then it's gonna trigger a few people and they're gonna start attacking. Because you want to control how they feel. I really don't care when you or any other TH-cam show what you're eating it looks like mush to me. But when they put it up to the lens so close that you feel like it's about to go down your own throat LOLI have to laugh. It's unsettling. Next he's gonna chew it and open his mouth and show you what it looks like then. Some men are such big babies. I used to watch a TH-cam channel of an urban explorer and heat sit down and eat on his break and he would actually show you the food he chewed right up to the camera it was disgusting. So if you have the need to show what you're about to put in your mouth fine but just no don't tell me I like that when I don't. And put it right into the camera lens cause that's intrusive. Your channel do what you want but don't tell people what they like and don't like. Because I will Let you know. Enjoy your mush.
That's the point of this channel, ASMR style of adventure. Luke's camping trips on his main channel, The Outdoor Gear Review, come with plenty of chat and commentary. This is a second channel for something different.
The Soto lighter works excellently. A little warming up before using it ensures it operates without any issues. I always carry mine in the pocket of my inner jacket, so it's easy to access and use whenever needed.
@engrmoutassim I carry it exactly like I do my mini bic lighter. Which by the way starts every time. I would rather just use that or my ferro rod. 10 seconds playing clik clik is annoying
Couple of questions….already asked many times before, but why do you put your tent so far aware from your tarps and why do you continually use that kettle that you trashed in earlier reviews? Also, your tarps resemble the Ukrainian flag…
Ground under the tarp is not necessarily leveled for a tent nor does it necessarily have anchor points for a tarp. Regarding the kettle, I completely share your perspective. It doesn't make sense for him to promote a product he previously trashed in an earlier review.
Luke is eating chicken croquettes in cream sauce! 🤪Go ahead Luke eat that rich food. Be ye careful, lest the ticks will bite you and turn you into zombie!!! LOL Don't forget to rub your hands together for the show!!!!!!!!!! LOL 😆 What else are you gunna rub, Luke, oh let me guess? LOL 😆 Hurry up light the fire, Luke before Sasquatch get you!!!!
I like the non-talking videos, because it shows us what you hear. Which is the wind and falling snow. I don’t need everything explained every single time. 😊
your camera is on an entirely different level…stunning clarity, sharpness and color.
Luke is a professional photographer. He was shooting commissions before his channel took off. The stunning color effects might owe something to his skills at manipulating images.
That filter is perfect for that scenery. It makes it look other-worldly. Gorgeous. I think Peter Jackson would be very impressed.
Love these videos. I can hear wind in the trees sometimes birds. Your footsteps in the snow and sometimes I think I even smell the air too! Thank you for being YOU!!
I find it amazing that very few, if any other people making these videos uses a ground sheet under their tent.

The cinematography in this vid is top notch.
Snow is so beautiful. Beautiful winter wonderland. Thanks Luke. Hello to Susie for me. May God bless you both.
I never noticed you having red rocks and dirt on your mountain. For a minute I thought you were in Arkansas! I know a lot of people like your explanations. I do too. But I like the quiet videos too.
Well, at least you got a little snow. Wonderful photography thanks for taking us along.
Great job bro keep up the great work your an inspiration to a lot of people!🎉
Hey Luke it would be cool if you also linked the adventure to your main channel if people decide they want to watch that one as well
Excellent video
Nicely matched tent and jacket to the colours of the season 👍- whatever the content it is always worth watching . Thank youn
I really like that Kettle being a Brit Tea is life :)
Awesome thank you for sharing
Thank you so much for the camping trip. After the week I just had I really needed a break, camping just fit the bill. 😊
So peaceful and beautiful!
Nice camping Luke! I enjoyed watching the adventure. I watch alot of ASMR Camping videos, one reason is because I'm deaf anyway. Love watching you video are so relaxing it’s soothing I love that it’s truly a quiet place ❤and love stormy weather ❤
nice camping sound of rain is amazing keep it up bro 👍👍👍
Luke your out more than the sun nice 😂😂❤
You are the one to be around when the zombe appocolisp comes!!😅
Good video, perfect music...keep 'em coming!
The colors in this intro are absolutely breath-taking to me. Did you use a filter, or was this just a happening? This is gorgeous scenery!
Love the quiet place videos bro
It would be interesting to see a review on the Bearskin waterproof hoodie. Thanks for sharing Luke !
Great video
Consider going easy on the color grading. It can be less enjoyable to view, especially for those who appreciate natural scenes.
I, The Old Bear, would have snuggled down and welcomed the storm. Unfortunately, I have enough spare fat to last for a while.
Best comment so far.
beautiful covered ground
Beautiful snowy landscape, but I missed your normal commentary.
Hi Luke, what are the packing cell/zip up bags you use? Great video, Thanks
10:05 why are you using a lighter to start that stove? In those conditions, wouldn't a striker be better? 💖🌞🌵😷
This tent is interesting! I'm going to check out your reviews.
SQUARE POT TEST; SQUARE POT TEST!
Hi can i ask what kind of super backpack you have? Thank you 👍✌️😉
Check the gear list!
Hi Luke!! Will you ever do a video with your twin brother? My wife is also a twin.
Kullandığın çadırın markası nedir ?
why do you hang the Tarp away from the tent.
I really wanted the watch your wearing. Then I see the price😮😮😮😮.
Nice video my friends 👋🏻🏕️
which luts you use?
Is this instant coffee?
Hi Luke... with me coming from England ( now reside in Ontario Canada) I have always wondered are you in bear country and doesn't it not faze you camping out ? ATB take care 👍🙏
Is it really storm camping without wind
No voiceover: there are plenty of images that stir the thinking of those of us who have done it (or learned from your videos.) MY OPINION is that you have the tarp draining uphill, where drain water will wash into your shelter area.
Cameras are not good at accurately showing the way the ground slopes or how level it is.
Luke i enjoy all your vids on both chanels great content. would like to know more about that l man insta tent looked easy to put up i'm always looking for an easer tent set up?😅
What is the average weight u carry? About 40 or 50 lbs, and what is the best and easiest weight to carry? 25lbs maybe? I dont know....

Do you have an improved, verified, or degraded view of the kettle after trying it out this many times Luke?
👍👍👍
why do you put the tent so far from the tarp?
Wondering that myself, blue & yellow tarps would be excellent windbreaker & protector for his sleeping tent👍✌️
To test its water proof and if I’m stuck under a tarp because of weather I want as much room to move around as possible.
Besides testing tents, there is the terrain. Best placement for how Luke wants to use the tarp, may not be good for the tent. The camera does not give an accurate picture of how level the ground is.
Question. Does anyone know the details on the watch Luke wears?
It is in the gear list when you hit “more” at the end of the video description.
that single canyon tent is unavailable on Amazon. nor that color exists. only the 2 person tent

@@AS-xi9df Thank you! I just always wondered because I wouldn't go camping without bringing at least one of my dogs.
@@TheMityquin i camp all the time without a dog 👍
Luke is sound ,, one of the best
I believe his dog has now passed away too
Setting up all these cameras is what did you in. I've said it before and I'll say it again just use the go pro on your head. Show us what you're looking at not of you walking by.
Quin bosc més bonic.

I don't understand why he don't put his tent under the tarp
I have question for you when you camping recording everything. Why are you not talking? Why are you so quiet? ???
That's the point of this channel, ASMR style of adventure. Luke's camping trips on his main channel, The Outdoor Gear Review, come with plenty of chat and commentary. This is a second channel for something different.
I liked when you were telling us why you doing things and what you should not do and always be prepaired, I don’t like you not talking.
Okay where in the video is the thumbnail? :/
That same Kettle it appears like it’s growing on you
That lighter is hard to start in the Flat lands of Northern Indiana. I wish I would not have bought it.
The Soto lighter works excellently. A little warming up before using it ensures it operates without any issues. I always carry mine in the pocket of my inner jacket, so it's easy to access and use whenever needed.

I think 99% of the camping videos I watch, the campers have their tents under the tarps. Luke is the 1% that doesn’t.

He is being fair, giving the gear a chance. Who knows, it may grow on him.
Boutique hobo camping.
🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
Love these vids. But no talking doesn’t make it ASMR. Just sayin’
Way too many ads!
Yhis
this is more about making coffee than anything else. Boring..
😴🛌

Sorry Luke but I don't like the nontalking videos as well as I do the original ones. I love the other ones a whole lot
❤
