Thanks so much! This has helped so much, I've made Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Qui-Gon Jinn. They all turned out great and this tutorial just made everything about my figures better.
Thank you SO much, until now I only did custom sabers and used decals for torsos, but thanks to this video I can now make better custom figures, once again thank you.
Thank you for the tutorial! I've just started making robed figures before you made this tutorial, and it seems we do it very much in common! If you are interested in seeing my robed figures or lightsabers, let me know. Also, I have a suggestion for some more lightsabers.
Awesome video! I’ve used similar methods on my Jedi minifigures, but I add a base layer of cloth to the torso with the neck section cut out and painted underneath Then I do the cloth tabbards and obi over the top
What's the cloth material again? I'm actually trying to make ship sails in the likeness of lego's cloth but can't seem to find a material in it's likeness.
Love this series!! Have you figured out how to DIY Chrome your pieces? There is a huge lack of information online, but people custom chrome their pieces all the time. Please teach us! lol
Great method! For this particular look I would have outlined the pieces in a dark tan vs a straight up brown, I think it's a bit too dark/harsh here and looks inaccurate
I think the bottom robe should be like a skirt piece and the belt should be glued to the torso only, that way the figure can still be disassembled easily
I just wanted to know, how do you keep the paint on. I use acrylic paint and it always comes off. If I apply nail polish It becomes too stiff. Please give advice.
Can you help me with my custom? i'd like to make an Uchiha Madara custom minifigure but i don't know how to make his armor. Should i sculp it? make it with cloth?
I have a question, I am chilean and I dont know what is computer paper in spanish because the literal traduction is "papel de computadora" but the results are not what I am searching. Can someone help me please?
If I don’t want to spend the money to buy the specific color of paint, then how do I make/mix the right colors to get that accurate light tan color LEGO always uses? I always have a hard time trying to replicate that color so it can blend in with the mini figures and their robes.
I think the tan color I'm using is a mix of Apple Barrel Nutmeg Brown, Territorial Beige, Ivory, and Gloss White. I'm not sure the exact ratios but I think those were the main colors I used. Mixing the right shade is always a lot of trial and error.
@@legomatic9 could I try using lite mocha as an alternative to territorial beige, since I don’t have that? I thought I did, but I have sinkissed peach and lite mocha. And then I could try adding like a drop of yellow in there?
Out of general curiosity, what torso does Anakin have? did you paint all that on or was it a set piece with some stripped off, or how is that one made?
I just want to ask if you watched season 9 of the walking dead I thought it brought the show back to form and would at least consider making a season 9 rick figure
Oh yes right right! Its very cool sir Ived watched that a few months back. Tho, Hopefully youll made a newer or other versions of it. I really like your works btw!!! Great job sir!
Hey BRO, I love your work ... 🐴👍🏻❤ ... the only drawback is that some minifigures lose mobility ... I understand that your art is like that and aesthetics prevail over gameplay ... 🐴❤ ... if you are pleased on my channel you can see some vídeos where you can see a kind of custom that I do which I have called as clean custom in which I only use vinyl, textiles and accessories that can later be removed ... in any case Incredible work, very good video and tutorial, you are a true Master ... thanks ... kind regards ... 🐴👍🏻
Omg this is SO helpful. I actually have robed Star Wars figs in progress and was a little scared about messing up. THANK YOU!

Great method! For this particular look I would have outlined the pieces in a dark tan vs a straight up brown, I think it's a bit too dark/harsh here and looks inaccurate
There are ways of doing it with the legs removable. That's what mgf does.

How did you get the hair piece for obi wan and anikan
I think the bottom robe should be like a skirt piece and the belt should be glued to the torso only, that way the figure can still be disassembled easily
When u use e tape, u put some leyars or only 1? (And u coloring it?)

I just wanted to know, how do you keep the paint on. I use acrylic paint and it always comes off. If I apply nail polish It becomes too stiff. Please give advice.
Use spray on sealants. They’re quite flexible.

Can you help me with my custom? i'd like to make an Uchiha Madara custom minifigure but i don't know how to make his armor. Should i sculp it? make it with cloth?

@@legomatic9 that makes sense. Thanks. I feel like I’ve been always driving myself crazy over that, since I can’t get the color right you know?
@@legomatic9 could I try using lite mocha as an alternative to territorial beige, since I don’t have that? I thought I did, but I have sinkissed peach and lite mocha. And then I could try adding like a drop of yellow in there?
Please make a Mace Windu lightsaber tutorial
Out of general curiosity, what torso does Anakin have? did you paint all that on or was it a set piece with some stripped off, or how is that one made?
It's all painted by me!
@@legomatic9 Well you did a damn good paint job. Love the work.
Would you ever consider an episode 2 Obi wan too? I would LOVE to see you do one as that’s my favourite look that he had
I actually know a hair piece he could use for that, the Lego old Luke hair from Last Jedi
Give us a printout sheet
I just want to ask if you watched season 9 of the walking dead I thought it brought the show back to form and would at least consider making a season 9 rick figure
Make a Kyber Trooper

Tutorial for Anakin!
I'm not very good at making Minifigures I just need some help on them
You know you don’t need to have the legs connected by the robes just do it the way MGF does.
Yo I’m an editor too
Instead of painting the base, I prefer to cut out a shirt out of some cloth and glue it on to my minifig and then add the sheaths
that hard
