Loghain is like the Thanos of this world. I initially disliked him as i thought he would deny every accusation in the Landsmeet but was surprised to see him not only admit it, but actually own it. It was a pleasant surprise, and even though he betrayed the King, i do see his point of view. Damn this game is enjoyable.
I mean he doesn't "own it". His first response to any mention of his crimes is to deflect the blame onto someone else. It's almost comical sometimes He left Cailan and the Grey Wardens to die? Cailan killed himself and/or the Grey Wardens goaded him into the charge (to be fair the point about Cailian is to an extent true, but claiming the Grey Wardens goaded him is a boldfaced lie). Loghain allowed the darkspawn to pour into Ferelden since he was too busy igniting and fighting a needless civil war, trying to kill the last Grey Wardens, and his paranoia about Orlais? It's the nobles' faults for not instantly bowing before him. He sold elves into slavery to the Tevinter? It's the Wardens' fault for opposing him (as opposed to rolling over and dying when he pinned the blame of Ostagar on them), meaning he stretched his forces too thin and needed the money. Besides the Alienage couldn't be saved and he was sending them to a better place anyway. If a City Elf warden calls him out on this, he will say to their face that he does not regret it, even having the chutzpah to call them "egotistical" for not instantly getting over it (note that he sold the elves to Tevinter, where there's a not-insignificant chance they'll be murdered to power blood magic). His own daughter sides with the Warden because Loghain has finally gone too far for her? The Wardens brainwashed her.
@Danielxxxx23 There are certain things you can say throughout the landsmeet that no matter what preparation you've done in order to ensure your victory will destroy your chances of winning no matter what, this video shows the correct things to say, not that it's very hard to choose the correct options but some people have trouble.
@Danielxxxx23 If you choose all of these options and have Anora on your side you could probably win it with that alone, the options you choose during the debate + Anora hold the most sway. Anora is really easy to get you can either persaude her to marry alistair or if failing that just tell her you'll support her for queen and you can change your mind later, all the other nobles you find around denerim some you'll find when rescuing anora just make sure you request their voice in the landsmeet.
@jorden452 cool, if you want the trial of the crows quest whether you want to helmet or not it's a fun quest you need to wait until a messenger boy talks to you when you're about to leave denerim, i'm not sure what triggers it also bugged for me last time and the boy never talked to me but I found him standing around denerim and clicked on him and it gave me the quest anyway lol (if you kill master ignacio at the end of the quest the merchant disappears just fyi)
@Freakybranstyles I'm not entirely sure what stops him from siding with you because I've never had that happen if you do everything right he will side with you, but I'm quite sure he has no quest or anything like that.
There MUST be an OPTION to rule together with: ALISTAIR. THE WARDEN + ALISTAIR take BoTH THE THRONE. I've never had that OPTION, BUT IT IS THERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or must I be a LOVER of ALISTAIR ???!!!! Can't it be done, without love ???
Oki doki, thanks for the info. Sorry about my capitals, this game is DAM hard for a newbie. I've got now an update, after playing this game 3 times. Now I kick ass .... and finished it....
Talk to her in-between the pre-Landsmeet missions in Denerim. Tell her you'll support her claim and don't be zealous and keep demanding Loghain die for his crimes. Be neutral or (pretend to be) understanding. If you wanna marry her, have Alistair execute Loghain. If you arranged a marriage between Alistair and Anora, then execute him yourself. She won't marry whoever kills her father.
"There is no saving the aliange" And how do you get from that to slavery. A prudent choice would have been to evacute the elves.
There was a plague, so ofc they couldn’t integrate that into populace. He was lying about it, of course but still.
If you say the blight is the true threat as his sons were killed by it.

This game predates Infinity War.
@@CamSiv996 I know. But not the comics.
Ah yes, seeing the point of view of murdering and sending elves to slavery, and not deporting them or something-completly reasonable
Nice try Loghain. But nah. Maybe next time.

@Markis2bi4 Most of them are in the Gnawed Noble Tavern and you help a few of them out during the quest where you go into Arl Howe's estate.

Winning by allying with Anora is trivial. Not sure what the big reveal here is.

Thank God for my obsession for exploring and side quests...
I would've died and lost the Landsmeet otherwise
Was that a quote from Community using Howe's name?

Thank you so very much!

@vagnurt In this video I had done the quests for them but there are other things that help persaude them
How do you help the other people at the lands meet anyways? I've checked Denerium, but they're no where to be seen.
I just realized Loghain is Logan from Fable (I just realized the similarities in their name)
Well Fable 3 took inspiration from dragon age origins
@@GamingCraftTeamlonghain is a better character while Logan was just wasted potential

How do I get her to agree with me? She betrayed me even when I agreed to support her.
you lie, agreed to support her then don't
