Bre, because I lost $10k in tools and eqpt in a crash in 2015 on my drive to NY from SW Florida when I blew a tire at 75mph, jacknifed, trailer axle broke, truck totaled, I had to retire. I've recently begun obtaining some tools so I can get back to small engine repair if only as a hobby. For that reason alone your videos are invaluable to me. I also love the entertainment and educational value. You are my small engine guru! I'm a retired car mechanic who's too old and arthritic to be back in it. I'm living vicariously through your videos! It’s time I let you in on a little secret I have… I grew up on small farm and over the years I have tried to “out fix” my dad. I’m now in my 40s and the repair competition is fierce. He refuses to ask me for help or advice… until I started watching your channel over a year ago. My little secret is you. You asked if you helped with your knowledge and advice.. you can’t hear me on the other side of screen but I yell “yes” after every episode. Not only have you saved me money and many hours of fixing frustrations, you have given me the knowledge to teach my dad a few things. Many many thanks to you!!

I have fixed 3 push mowers, 1 lawn mower, 1 zero turn, and 3 chainsaws with your guidance. That feeling you get when you bring your engines roaring back to life, that has been dead and neglected for years....indescribable. The feeling when you help someone else resurrect their equipment.....they usually consider you a magician at this point.

I really find your videos informative and backed up with common sense. I first went to school for marine and small engine repair from 1976-1978. My High School had a multi district Vo Tech on site. Those were pretty good times because due to overcrowding we had double sessions, i was able to start at 6:30 and then leave for my full time job at 10:30 working as a motorcycle mechanic (we also sold and serviced Stihl power equipment). Now fast forward 45+ years and a number of different jobs ranging from building submarines (winding up as a journeyman machinist), logging, carpentry, automotive mechanic (with multiple national awards along the way), Tech Rep for Snap On Tools, and so on. I only mention this to point out that I will never be too old to stop learning. You have pointed out many things that I just forgot over the years so i like to sit with my coffee in the AM and have my brain "Tuned Up Again". Thank you for your content and common sense approach to problems.

You are a badass! I love your videos! I am about to rebuild the carb on my new-to-me CS590 thanks to you. I bought it for $225 from a widow who's husband passed shortly after buying it. It sat full of fuel for two years....the fuel was brown and smelled like turpentine, and the saw would not run, but its BRAND NEW. Thank you for making your content...... David

Thank you for getting my power washer started this spring, and for preventing me from running it on idle! You rock! Also, hilarious to see you getting more ‘relaxed’ as the video went on. Have another beer!

Hi. I just finished watching you top ten tips. I am a home improvement handyman. One of my customers gave me a deptec Wi-Fi camera. It works great. I recently replaced the fuel lines on a Craftsman chain saw. If I had watched your video where you used your needle nose pliers to stretch the hoses the job would have been so much easier. Thank you for sharing your knowledge for all to see. Have a great day

Chickanic, I can`t tell how many times your videos have helped me solve a problem with my chain saw and weed eater as well. You seem to have an unending mass of helpful information to help fix a problem, instead of turning it over to a small engine repair shop. You have safed me lots of money. A P W

I have watched most of your videos and was a life saver with my stihl chainsaw and riding JD mower.. The scopes to look down the cylinders saves alot of time and frustration. I'm a diesel technician, I find the scopes useful. Thank you for your valuable information dealing with small engines..

I loved the tip about soaking trimmer line in water. This summer I replaced my aftermarket trimmer head on my Stihl with a OEM Stihl, thinking my line breaking days were over. Boy, was I wrong. Can’t wait to try it next summer after soaking it, of course.

Here is a good tip people might like. For o-rings that get oversized from swelling on a carb teardown. Soak in boiling or extremely hot water then dry it and put in freezer for long time. Ive had great success doing this and just did one the other day that i almost didnt bother with thinking it would shrink back down as much as it needed too, and voila it fit right back in its groove. Also on the tip of letting the mower run after turning the fuel shutoff off. After it dies, restart multiple times again using the choke and manipulating the choke on and off to get circuits dry as possible. Thanks again for all your great info and content.

Wow, every little tip and trick is a huge help. It's one thing to have all these tools because we have work to do with them. It's another thing to have to constantly work on them to keep them working! God bless you for helping all of us save time, money and frustration! The manuals and instructions that come with all these things clearly show us how much we need You. I know how hard it is to do and shoot and edit all this work, but always remember, you are saving the world One Pull and Start at a Time!
