i'm getting a lot of sample shots, stay tuned for the full review! A wedding shoot is coming up by the end of June, i'll probably make a review of the Samyang 85mm soon after that because that lens is more straight forward and I already reviewed the E-mount version years ago. As for this leica 15mm i do want to wait a bit more for a real long term review.
You’re actually the first reviewer I’ve seen to show vlogging footage capability for the panaLeica 15mm; the answer to a question I’ve had for awhile.
it's not a review but i do plan to get some vlog footage in my final review video that's coming ... maybe next year
FF has 3:2 aspect ratio,which is wider than 4:3. So, 15mm is litter wider, feels like the 35mm ff lens.
plan to get the 15mm lens for my GX9 for when i travel.
autofocus is very quick and snappy in photo, it's hard to miss a shot unless fast action.
in video.. maybe a bit slow(judging from the vlogging footage), still to be confirmed!
If you have already had 14-150 Olympus which lens do you choose between 15/1.7 leica or 25/1.4 leica
i'd pick 25mm f1.4 just for better bokeh : p

I personally prefer zoom lenses but for talking head video 12m f1.4 sounds fantastic, 9mm is ultra wide and has limited use case(vlogging, real estate, ultra wide landscape), imo 12mm is wide enough for vlogging as well. Personally i'd pick 1260 + 12mm f1.4, or 9mm f1.7 + 12-35 f2.8, it all comes down to your own preference, theres no one better than another.
I have 10-25 1.7 and interested in 15 1.7 too, but I have 17 1.2 that make me hesitate to get 15 1.7, focal length are too close
17mm f1.2 sounds awesome, would be a bit downgrade to get 15mm f1.7
@@AiurMedia 15 1.7 still really tempting as it is really lightweight, if I get it I worry one of it(17 or 15) will be stay in dry box, thats a waste
È davvero strana che Panasonic non faccia un vero obiettivo 35mm equivalente. Questo 15mm è la cosa più vicina che hanno. Un be 17mm f1.4 pana-Leica sarebbe davvero interessante.
d'accordo, però ci sono già tanti obviettivi olympus da 17mm, sarebbe un po ripetitivo se fanno un leica 17mm
Stop fiddeling with the big lens! Yes, we have now seen it. Put it away. We ate all here for the Leica 15/1.7. Hard to consentrate on what you are saying when you fiddle and play with other lenses. 😂
