Full TotK artbook just got leaked. Now seen it myself yet but I guess there will be heavy spoilers. Look for gaming leaks and rumours reddit for the link to it
Just found her channel two nights ago. Love her theory that the pattern on restored Midna's dress represents the gate of time with the square-toothed gear.
i just love how the whole zelda community is coming together to speculate again. finally we have new stuff we can analyze and obsess about. it makes the waiting time sooo much more enjoyable. im glad all of us are here
Same! Loved her theories. And you never really see theorists growing their theories off of other's theories, like Moxie did with NBC's ones on Arbiter's Grounds.
When I first came across the cavern in Hebra, I also thought that was the remains of King Dodongo. It makes sense. It also helps my theory that most of the large peaks in BOTW Hyrule have at one time been called Death Mountain. Different volcanoes have been going. active and dormant over thousands of years, which have a huge impact on which province is which in any given game.
that's actually a good theory. being a consistent place in Zelda games helps to pinpoint which places have moved where, but it shines a brighter light on it to say that death mountain is the one moving
@𝗫𝗮𝗻 I thought so. And when one goes dormant, naturally that peak would turn cold and icey later. Causing water to build up and flow from the old death Mountain. Which in turn changes where forests grow.
I'm surprised you mentioned a hypothetical 'water dodongo' so much without talking about Dimitri from the oracle games, who is a literal water dodongo. Maybe he grew up to be really big! I do still personally think it's a whale though, since we have the same number of giant whale-like skeletons as giant whale-like beings in the series.
The giant sphere being the moon from majoras mask would be interesting, but I think it’s more likely to be some kind of zonai astrology chamber, perhaps even what sparked the shiekahs interest in the stars
Something I’ve been wondering is if Master Kohga will come back since he did fall into some sort of underground. If this is the case then he would most likely get his chance for a better boss than he was in BOTW.
@@tumultuousv damn straight. If you play zelda oot 3ds you come to appreciate the water temple since they removed the repetitive out of it. The water temple is better than all four divine beasts sad
@@KingDennyFrost haha. Yeah the 3ds fixed a bunch with the water temple. But tbh comparing them to the divine beasts is unfair. Honestly they were fun. If they were just bigger and had separate themes they would've been a lot better.
I truly believe the way down is those new tower structures. In that scene where the guardian arms pop out and the platform translates to "transport", the arm beside him has a spool of wire and it looks like the wire goes below it. So if doesn't bring him up from the ground, which for what reason I don't know maybe it's a lookout point, then maybe it's to bring him to a point below him. The first trailer has them searching underground somewhere, as though they've been experimenting exploring the newly found underground and have used the holes made from some sheikah towers as check points so people exploring don't have to depend on ONE entrance. The spotlights could be to allow explorers to see these structures at night.
And also, I doubt that circular structure in the sky is the moon from majoras mask. If you watch the extended version of that particular clip that's circulating Japanese Twitter, you can see another one on the right of the screen really fast. That would be a cool easter egg to add somewhere tho. I would love that
I have a theory, this might not only be the end of the current timeline of Zelda, but it also might be repeating the cycle. Islands rising, fissures bursting with evil, and now with the theory that Zelda might die and reincarnate as Hylia, the very same story would repeat back to Skyward Sword. A cycle with no end; a true curse indeed.
If she dies, it would be an unforgivable betrayal Nintendo is making. Zelda dreams of being a scholar and she is happy where she is before her father shuns her. Before the calamity stroke Hyrule. Being reborn as the goddess Hylia will mean destroying her character traits as well as her love for Link.
2:36 Its strange that @moxiewatts thinks the bones in the desert belong to the ocean king and that the Eldin bones are The wind fish --- many other analyses say the desert bones are the Wind fish, Eldin remains are Levias, with the third in Hebra remaining unknown. I like the theory about Dodongo's cavern, but that place being so far from Death mountain seems unlikely!
another comment left a theory that Death Mountain has been on every peak throughout Hyrule history, that they're all volcanoes that become dormant over time, spurring another peak to become active, dubbing that Death Mountain. it helps to explain the movement of Death Mountain in comparison to other games
@@A-RonHubbard they didn't go into that aspect, i haven't thought of an answer myself though it is a very long time forward from previous games, it's not unlikely for climates to change over generations
Have you ever notice that the main music theme for Tears of the Kingdom is present in Breath of the Wild? If you talk to Kass to activate the Serpent's Jaws side quest you can hear it. And the fact that this shrine is related with the Zonai is a strong evidence that the Zonai will be present in Tears of the Kingdom. What do you think?
Hey, I was watching a comparison video between BotW and TotK and during the scene where the malice is firing out of the giant blood moon, the section of the plateau is not only a different climate (in BotW it's snowy), the walls are also undamaged! This is probably a flashback, but it could be restoration or even time travel! Who knows, but figured it was a curious detail you'd be interested in! Personally my guess is that its a recollection of the first time Calamity Ganon attacked, possibly its a cutscene near the beginning of the game to show us the origin of Calamity Ganon, forming from the malice coming from Ganondorf's body? That's speculation but who knows!
The three giant leviathans are thought to be Levias from Skyward Sword in the Eldin region, the Wind Fish in the Gerudo Desert, and no one seems to be able to agree on what the third one is because it doesn't really look like anything we've seen before.
11:07 While I'm not 100% convinced the "round orb" in the distance of the scene with the flying machine is the moon from Majora's Mask. I will admit it looks a bit like it has an open mouth in the lower left corner of the orb. Also if it was the moon, one of the eyes would be right behind that piece of island between the camera and the orb.
The unregistered leviathan is a pretty classic looking whale skeleton. Not a reptile. Sorry, it's not heavy speculation, it's blatant random words in succession. Also, the Eldin skeleton looks almost exactly like the sky fish dude from Skyward Sword (forget his name... Levias?) not the windfish from Link's awakening.
Everyone should really start accepting that this game is the end of botw AND the beginning of skyward sword. Everything makes sense including ganondorf being underground and coming up to the surface with all the monsters he summons. And Hylia making the islands which is the beginning of skyward sword. The timeline is a damn circle all along not a linaear path. And the ancient hero is the same Botw Link . Funny how he has the long hair after getting the powers from Hylia (lend him your power) just like the picture shown of the ancient hero.
I wasn't able to be a gamer growing up. My parents didn't let us have any gaming systems 😅 But then I bought my own Switch in 2020 and leisurely played BOTW, my first ever LOZ game. I have always loved communities that theorize and create together. I'm so so So glad I joined the fandom when I did. I get to finally be excited for a game to release!! I've never had that before and it's such a magical feeling
11:10 Moxi saying the moon from majoras mask got me thinking. (Although cause of what or where termina is and if it’s even real it’s somewhat hard to rationalise) But what if it is (a reference to) the moon from MM. what if the islands in the sky, the ones of em that are dungeons, what if they’re themed after the title/theme of previous games in the 3D/HD universe. Cause one islsnd looks like (the remnants) of skyloft, the round one looks like the mm moon, some of the islands look very “city in the sky-like”. What if this is a cycle ending story where it all comes down to and everything ever happened throughout history (ocarina, twilight, Skyward, and maybe just maybe even WW and MM. and the penultimate story BotW) is somehow somewhat relevant. Also I think the malice holes on the overworld, you know the circular ones thst are seen throughout the trailer. The moment you see those red malice comets shooting down and spawning new enemies, I think the are spewn from out of those holes. Kind of like what you see in that prophecy in Skyward , that intro on how the underworld came to the surface. Ok gon on long enough 😅 Nice vid💪💯

Idk if anyone's had this theory yet but has anyone talked about the hand being the zonai? Or the zonai being part of all these magical structures? I mean, they all just "suddenly" vanished and i highly doubt it was because of a war. Ive seen the theory that the zonai seal ganondorf away at his own request, or the zonai simply disappeared into the sky. I always thought that the zonai sacrificed themselves. They became the hand, the machinery, all of it. I believe that was hinted at from the very beginning too with not only the luminous stones, but the fact that the hand *Spoke* . Another theory; We see the hints of the Zonai being worshippers of Ganondorf, but even so, why seal him anyways? Even if it was his own request, why? To bring the cycle to a standstill? I believe zeltik and maybe a few others brought up the cycle that hyrule is is stuck in. From my point of view, it seems like Ganondorf wants to "break" it. This ganondorf is gerudo, and if its the gerudo that we all know and love, then he's smart enough to realize that after likely 100s of thousands of years, link "killing" him is the reason the cycle continues. What if ganondorf is never killed? and the hero never killed? the master sword is broken, the hero weakened, but not killed. I know its absurd and that this being a reality is slim to none, but ive always wondered if ganondorf would finally come to the realization that the cycle is the only reason he can never truly win in the end. Whether the hero is killed, whether ganon is killed, the cycle always continued, so how do you stop it? I do believe that at the end link will be forced to continue it, but what if he doesnt? Will that be the cause of the tears of the kingdom? Hylia/Zelda sacrificing herself to break the cycle? or Link forcing both himself and Ganondorf into a time freeze or loop so that the cycle of pain and suffering stops? ok ill stop now.
theres definitely gonna be a leap either backwards or forwards in time, its really the only way to make exploring the exact same world feel interesting again
Well the existing Hyrule could just be the access point to the sky and the underground where the real new content is. There is evidence of a flashback or perhaps time travel though. In the scene where the malice is firing out of the giant blood moon, the area shown of the plateau is not only a different climate (in BotW it's snowy), but the walls are also undamaged too!
2:58 It doesn't resemble King Dodongo, it resembles a whale and could potentially be a hint towards the kingdom's past beneath the great sea Google 'Blue Whale skeleton' and compare The only thing that really stands out to me is the spike on the back of the skull, and I'm guessing that's where the idea that it's a Dodongo came from. It also just makes no sense for a Dodongo to be in Hebra rather than Eldin.
Three things that I'm currently thinking on...1st. with the overworld spirals possibly being fast travel waypoints, and the spiraling energy on them goes from wide, blue-ish color at the base, to narrowing in the center, to turning green as you spiral back out and go up. Well, what if the widening blue spiraling as you go down, is that the spiral transports work both ways, green spiral to go up to the sky islands, and blue spiral to go down into the underground.🤔🤔🤔2nd. What if all the sky islands end up interlocking together to form one final land mass.🤔🤔🤔and 3rd. I really want to know what the sets of holes in Ganondorfs muscles are, they're on his arm, shoulder, under his sternum, etc.🤔🤔🤔
I don't think that skeleton is of a Dodongo, a more reptilian animal. It much more closely resembles a normal whale skeleton, and the jaws give it away.
So this got me thinking, if it’s believed certain structures are rising (to escape ganon?).. What if hyrule castle began to do the same, to rise up to escape Ganons malice, but malice is holding it down, which is why it’s floating… hyrule castle tug of war?!?
Okay, let's ask the question everyone is ignoring. Why did that person burn the crap out of that pie in the featured snack? What happened? Are you okay? Do you need help?
Art book leak is official…..only a true Zelda TH-camr will actually cover the subject whether you present the photos or not! Talk about it simple n the hand that’s holding ganon down is the same person in the trailer from 5 months ago! Fact n the artwork has shown the proof too

Not really. Well there will maybe be a few years. It's not really a jump or time travel though.

It doesn't resemble King Dodongo, it resembles a whale and could potentially be a hint towards the kingdom's past beneath the great sea
Google 'Blue Whale skeleton' and compare
The only thing that really stands out to me is the spike on the back of the skull, and I'm guessing that's where the idea that it's a Dodongo came from.
Sorry, how many days a year was that?
Can you make a vid about the music in the 2nd game :)
the giant bones, of what is dub a leviathan actually is almost the exact shape of real life whales.
The art book got leaked, it's amazing
I don't think that skeleton is of a Dodongo, a more reptilian animal. It much more closely resembles a normal whale skeleton, and the jaws give it away.
But it's a whale skull... Still awsum to see Moxie appear here, they've got some good stuff.
Do you need help?
the hebra skeletons head looks like ridley
That is a whale skeleton. No legs, fins pointing backwards and the skull looks exactly like a whales.
Anyone else think that there’s a dark world version ? I mean we see very different tones in different shots of trailers
We haven't seen much of Akkala in this game have we
We haven't seen much of anything in the trailers rbh
I have a REALLY hard time believing that to be a Dodongo skeleton :T
Shape of head = conclusive evidence this is not a leviathan, must be a dodongo
Has fins instead of claws = must be some type of water dodongo
Hahaha, the oocca tidychikens. 😆
Hey. Have you noticed that the art book has been leaked on reddit? It has pretty interesting stuff in it
All you zelda content creators got Morgan Freeman level relaxing voices, good content too ya both, cant wait to see more :)
Shoutout to the Discord Family ✨💕✨
💜💜💜
I think the villain in tears of the kingdom is the fortune teller Astor
Probs not.
People who didn't okay aoc won't even know who that is. He might show up but he's not the main villian
How is no one talking about how she said chicken titties 🤣💀
King Dodongo? Are you high?
That’s a baleen whale skeleton. Like Levias or the Windfish.
Ooooh boy, hahahaha, "secrets"
NOT ANYMORE AAAAAAAAAAAAA
Woah! Moxie is here!
A good listen if you’re struggling to get to sleep
Nah, that orb is a Death Star
HEH-brah, NOT "HEE- bra". Damnit!
Why have all the Zelda TH-camrs decided to collab 😭
Zoh-NAH-ee, not ZOH-nai.
Subscribed to Moxie Watts :3

Yay!
Art book leak is official…..only a true Zelda TH-camr will actually cover the subject whether you present the photos or not! Talk about it simple n the hand that’s holding ganon down is the same person in the trailer from 5 months ago! Fact n the artwork has shown the proof too
dude, i hope you put a disclaimer on the thumbnail for all future videos that there's nothing of the artbook in here otherwise i will have to stay away from all future zelda videos
knowing HG, he'd likely say at the start if he's going to discuss it. looking at his twitter though, he doesn't seem to want to take it into consideration for theories
Interesting to see new people on the channel but I found her portions very disjointed and not particularly engaging.
i am done with all you zeldatubers- you are all going to have the game ruined- you can't wait a few months- children
Why are you being so mean this guy would never cover the art book 😔
Nope not listening to a foid.
