loved that one and the smokehouse bbq bacon sandwich they had a couple years back as well, they need to make pimento cheese a permanent menu item, it was SO good, it made me buy pimento cheese spread at the store after they ended it!
I’ve made it myself a few times, you just use nacho jalapenos, some good honey, and Aldi “Happy Farms” pimento cheese, and you can do either the regular or spicy sandwich and just doll it up yourself

Chick-fil-A is far and away the highest quality national fast food chain in my book, but 11 bucks is pretty darn steep.
Are things that much cheaper anywhere else?
By the way, it's going to get worse. Demand for the U.S. dollar just dropped off a cliff, thanks to Saudi Arabia and our current administration. Should be seeing some real nice inflation in the next few years.

This dude is, hands down, one of the oddest characters on TH-cam, but he is so freaking entertaining, honest, and very interesting. He reminds me a ton of myself when I was 13-15. Anyone who eats fast food knows that his reviews are nothing short of real. I have taken the time to try several of the items he has* tried, and he has always been spot on with his assessments.
I sincerely appreciate the fact that he is making money doing what I wish I could have done. His show is a testament to the power of the internet. If you are fresh, different/unique, and informative, you too can make it anywhere, it does not have to start in New York.

Every time the government says inflation is down, the price of food skyrockets. The medium meal deal with this thing is $16.29 here. It seems like this stuff is going up a 10-15% every 2 or 3 months.

I think he just lives in an area that has abnormally high prices, it's only $8.45 for the grilled fillet, $7.49 for the regular fillet where I am (still high but within reason for a "premium" item)

I’m actually really excited to try this. I love that kind of sweet maple bacon and the sweet heat flavoring. It’s right up my alley. Also, I really recommend people try their grilled chicken more often. Their breaded is always popular but the grilled deserves more attention
I remember back in the day in the 80s there was a Chick Fil A in the Puente Hills Mall (Mall seen in Back to the Future 1). They would give out samples om tooth picks like Sam's Club. My parents never bought anything from them so I always would try to go back for more samples lol.
You might pass all the free hair care and lotion samples at the mall, but you did arrange to get a chicfilet sample going in and back out... minimum.

Is there a constitutional amendment that limits the pickles on a chicken sandwich to 2. Every chicken sandwich I've ever been served had 2 pickles, stacked in the middle, so you get one bite of sandwich with pickle.

YMMV on the price depending on your local area, i was able to get the combo for 12.35 and that was even upsizing the drink from medium to large, kept the medium waffle fries. gotta say, i really enjoyed the sandwich too, though i opted for the crispy filet since i really like the breading on their chicken. Definitely was not spicy, but had really good flavor.
I'd call chick-fil-a a premium fast food sandwich, no problem with a $5 price tag. I'm not paying anything approaching 10 for any fast food sandwich

Some people call pickle slices in jars (or removed from a jar and put on a burger or the like) “pickle chips.” Nowadays I expect them to be fried, but “pickle chips” seems a fairly established term for ordinary pickle slices…
Chick-fil-a does one thing and does it right consistently. They do chicken right, but it is all they focus on. When restaurants focus on a few items rather than a massive amount of items, they tend to focus on making the few items perfect rather than many items mediocre.

For people complaining about the price it really depends on the location. The one I work at has it for about $8.50 still a lot but not $11. My coworkers and I have been obsessed with it. The kitchen smells like pancakes when we toast the maple buns

I've noticed that the Chick-fil-A locations near me are becoming less crowded every year now. The price is too much for most people now.
Y eat there when you can get two pizzahut pizzas for around 14 to 18$ in the cities and feed everyone.
It’s the inflation, harder for people to afford eating out as much as before. Even the price of a pizza has gone up from $5 for a 1 topping medium to $8

I work at a chick fil a- I always love your reviews because they are reasonable. I highly recommend that if anyone is up for it, you try the spicy variant. It helps with the flavor of the pepper Jack cheese and brings up the spice to a point where I think it’s a perfect balance- not too spicy at all.
If I ever come to the US, the first thing I’m doing is going to a Chick-fil-A.

Something seems off about that price as here in Minnesota this Sandwich only costs 8.09 Crispy and 8.99 Grilled and then 12.39 and 13.29 for the meal.

Though I must say Chick-fil-A is oftentime consistent & rarely disappoint. They rarely release a new menu because they prefer quality over quantity releases. When they do release something new, it has to be something that's truly good. Which is great!

BTW, that's cheaper than an uncooked chicken, usually around $9. I don't know how they do it.

Agree - Chick-fil-A has their act together. Fast service, everything is great quality - the lemonade is so good. It is a bit expensive for fast food but, as you said - we're getting something we know is going to be good.

Most things are cheaper in the deep south. I'm from the New York metro area and everything here is sky high.
Look at cigarettes for instance. In Georgia, a pack costs like $6.40. Up here, it's like $12.00 a pack!

i work at cfa, we used the maple bun and have cinnamon from the local grocery store and eggs to mix with the bun. then we drop it on the grill and boom, ez french toast

@chrisretzlaff2895 and you know I've tried it since making the comment and I was a tad disappointed. Sandwich was designed well in that all the flavors worked together, but the one I got was not hot at all. Borderline cold. Like the cheese wasn't even melted in the slightest. S Tier Sandwich bumped down to B tier.
@JoshHamps I did get it with the spicy chicken filet, pretty solid, unfortunate that yours wasn't hot, it's worth saying something and try it again. I really liked, and for a dollar extra you can double the bacon

There is indeed a reason!
In a video from years ago, he mentioned having sensory processing issues and he doesn't like the tops of his fingertips to touch anything. So he keeps his nails long to act as a barrier between surfaces and his fingertips.
I know someone else with these sensory processing issues and he also keeps his nails long, so it's definitely a thing
