Wow man, I'm kinda new to Linkedin. Meaning I've had i for years but never used it. Now, I want to use it more but I found the same flaws in those articles. I knew they were for AI training and database, probably to sell us something again later! This was so honest and insightful, man. I do feel like the shiny badge could help position me as a top thinker in my niche (since I havn't really built much on Linkedin - but I don't like the dirty trick, as tempting as it is). Thank you for this video.
Can you share some stats on your account? How old is your account and how many connections do you have? It seems like LinkedIn is restricting the ability to contribute for accounts below a certain threshold
Here’s what linkedin is saying: “LinkedIn identifies members who are likely to be experts in a certain topic based on their work experience, skills proficiency, and prior engagement on the platform. They must also meet high trust and quality standards by adhering to LinkedIn’s User Agreement and Professional Community Policies, and their contributions must remain relevant, original, and additive.” So it’s likely is a mix of experiences + engagement
Thank you for this video! Did well for a 1st one. Amazing I’m actively using LinkedIn since December 2023. (Had since 2019..did nada). Well that’s very interesting how this platform like the others are obtaining information.
Hey Jeremie! It does not look like your first video. You are doing great. Thanks for the knowledge and information. Could you please tell me what software you use to simultaneously display your laptop screen and your face in your videos? Additionally, how do you create the circular frame for your selfie video while you're demonstrating things on your laptop screen?
Thank you for the kind feedback! I have 2 video files, one from the camera, and one from the screen recorder, then am using Davinci Resolve as editing software, with a "picture in picture" addon to to put my face in a circular frame
you might not meet the eligibility that Linkedin has set, however they didn’t publish what that criteria is, it could be experience, engagement level on linkedin, etc
I agree with you that it might be a waste of time, but I truly believe that most people are not going to investigate how did I get it, and just going to be impressed by it. In that sense, it's better to have it. I'm a business owner and consultant btw.
Spot on Vanessa! Indeed people will get impressed because most of them won't ever know how that badge was acquired - and as I say in my video, I think that business owners might be the only people who will tangibly benefit from this badge. I'm curious, did you see any uplift in your business since you earned the badge?
@@Career-Engineering I haven’t earned it yet! 😔I'm sorry I gave you the impression that I have it. But I’ve been invited to write in a lot of those articles and through your video now I can get a better understanding of what to do to improve my chances of getting top voice.

Besides the training of their AI model, I've found it's an excellent tool to use when I can't think of anything to post related to my business.
