I remember playing this same build when I was in silver and getting flamed so much I just started going the standard taunt. Now I find out its a good option for that tier. Moral of the story is mute your team at the start.

Don't understand his reluctance to core at the end - 4 members of the enemy team were dead and they had 3 catapults right there. Even if your team is low damage the catapults will do the job fairly quickly past the 20 minute mark. It's not like Morales was a threat to kill them.

While I love these so that we can see how to try an mitigate low ELO play I would say that we need to keep in mind this is a Master/GM player with 4 silver vs. 5 silver. Tank is also the most critical component as a good tank will elevate the entire team as long as they just follow along with the tank.
Silver and gold players for the most part are not terrible mechanically it's usually just lacking in judgement and macro play. When to use certain abilities and ults, when to focus on soak and camps, when you can end, when you can boss, etc.

Hi NotParagox, I am a big fan of you and your videos. However, I'm afraid I really disagree with your point in this one.
First and foremost I don't think it's a good idea to promote a build specifically to "1v5 carry in low ranks". You know a lot about psychology so you certainly know about the Dunning-Kruger effect. Eighty percent of drivers think they are above average and way too many silver players think they are the only good players of their team and they need to carry these scrubs. Adjusting the playstyle and builds based on this mindset could really hinder many players' gameplay.
Specifically to the build, my opinion is that this is a great build for situations where you're having Garrosh but you cannot go for that quick lockdown+burst oriented teamfights. This can happen in quick match or after some mistake in draft. However, taking Garrosh with the intention of taking this build isn't optimal, because there are other tanks who can do this job (sustain brawler) just better. It's a playstyle Garrosh can do, but nothing he excels at. Your video shows how easily you can win with it but let's be honest, you could even make Monstrosity look good if you wanted. Again, this is just my completely subjective thought about this build.
Anyway, I'm still a big fan of you, looking forward for your next video, I just wanted to express my opinion.
Actually, decimate build is better than taunt because being realistic, in SL trusting that your team will focus your taunt target is not really a given. Decimate gives you a lot of area control which paradox doesn't mention. I would recomend picking bodycheck on 1 and most of the times picking the spell dmg reduction on 7
@@andreyrojasmadrigal6940 I agree, but this wasn't actually my point. There are indeed many situations where decimate would be better than taunt. However, in most of these situations a different tank would be better than Garrosh with any ult. If you don't want to go for the lockdown and blowup and rather want a more sustained playstyle, you have several better options. That was my opinion.

Totally understand the “easy” thing. It really isn’t too hard to understand, just to do or stay calm in a game. I’d be curious to see a game where you pick later game carries just for you to talk through the process of late game. You may stop silvers, but not everyone does which can lead to more even games the longer you go

Rework ruined him. That's what happens when you cut costs and don't hire actual programmers. It's a CLUNKY game play build. Blizzard is now infamous for that in every game they put out. FYI.... Lucio... is the reason you didn't get wrecked. No offense, but I didn't see any super tanky anything here. If he wasn't right on you... you were dying.

The perfect example of why HoTS never worked for pro play and people didn't like it, individual player skill is rarely relevant if your team sucks or they pick garbage heroes. This guy is a master level player and he still had a rough time carrying these guys.
You keep talking about Silvers and they are so bad ,but you had a few chances to kill Morales and you let her go trying to focus Zul'jin instead of the healer .

That Misha bear ult won you the game, hahaha. And, if you just committed right after you won that last fight instead of considering objective, you would've won more decisively, instead of right after they spawned. Not to mention if you actually contributed damage to Nexus instead of blocking a useless Morales. Definitely a lot of situation mis-reads at the end there.

They literally just try to teamfight every time they see the enemy, and nobody ever soaks or does camps. Then everyone dies while fighting for no reason and they all bitch at you while you're double soaking and just got a camp...

i was climbing in preseason from bronze to silver and in this season to plat..
and dude.. i didn't really feel much difference between silver-gold-plat over all..
like sure.. there may be some but in general you just see them feeding, trolling and ignoring pings as always..
just such low game knowledge..

God, players like that nazeebo who will just solo push a lane in the lategame and refuse to group up for a teamfight, just make me furious.
He handed Paradox's team a 5v4 and massively reduced the damage output of his own team. If he'd just grouped up with them, his lategame dps and zuljin's+immortal would have likely ended the game.
Unfortunately someone like that will impact the outcome more than a player at the rank of Notparadox. No excuse for that level of garbage.
You should not pick heal on 13 with the q quest . The whole point of the q quest is to reduce cd to get shield uptime on the 13 talent
If you go body check, you pick heal on 13 if you go q quest, you pick shield.
Otherwise the build is pretty standart and fun.
I was one of the first one to talk about that build more than a year ago and got flamed to death for playing it and talking about it.
This build is actually really fun. Your videos are so educating, at first I hated malthael, but after watching an analysis from you, he pretty fast became one of my mains with a 61% win rate. Now I'm kinda stucked on Garrosh.
Picking bodycheck on 1 is very good with this build, helps you set-up your throws like your Q with the added heal reduction from bodycheck. Also, this build is amazing on any rank not just low ranks
funny enough i used this build already when playing garrosh lately... right befor this video i watched your winblade video and i already used that build too (have to work on my stay safe mentality on varian though)
i would believe in general in lower elo it makes totaly sense to go for a build that makes you selfsustainable every build that relys to much on other teammates you will end up more often that its not work out as it will... the legendary etc slides in 5 man mosh right in that moment his team decided to run away...
SRY i kind of enjoyed your struggle so relatable at least you got 2 player with the big gold circle for there heros and actualy i dont know how your team was so bad at race actualy but well at least 70& of my loses are cause some bs (like enemy got punisher and my team stays in front of the tower and get punished or doing boss but keep standing in red circle cause we have a healer..) of teammates and not at the first maybe not the second but at some point im so triggerd i will do realy stupid stuff too...
I always play this build with Garry and had great success with it. Always wondered why I didn't see it more, but you gave me my answer: I'm in silver =P
I always have a hard time (pretty much a sure fail) throwing specific targets amongst enemy heroes and minions when bunched up, any tips to improve my throwing?
wait until they have the horde symbol on them then throw, try to stand as close to them as possible because it targets the closest charachter.
It looks like he also only threw when the target was isolated from everything else
if you can't reliably throw your target in minion waves, then just don't do it in waves. Approach enemies when they are between you and their wave. Your cooldowns are too long to use twice per kill, so you can wait for the moment when you are sure that you have your target. They will try to peel you off if you wait close to them, so be ready with indomitable to keep walking with them.
Minions will always be picked first best get them when not in a wave.

The attack-speed reduction + damage reduction stack, but is the spell damage reduction + damage reduction stacking?
I think they stack, since it's two different types of dmg reduction. I don't remember dmg reductions/buffs being changed like armor did (used to stack different sources, now only highest value is applied)
