This is the song where Barry's falsetto was born. Producer wanted a high pitch scream at the last of the song. Barry said he had no idea he could sing like that. Amazing.

"Nights On Broadway" is a true GEM - and you get to hear Robin's voice a bit more, as well as Maurice's falsetto...
These three brothers were Musical Geniuses that had the ability to adapt their music to each new decade - together, they were Pure Magic for close to 50 years...💖💖💖
I think a lot of people don’t realize that Maurice was able to do the high falsetto as well as Barry. Mo’s talent was extremely underrated. They were/are all genius! Love them.

I live in Manhattan just a hundred or so yards away from Broadway, and I blame everything on the nights on that street. Forgot my mother's birthday? Hey, Mom - it's the nights on Broadway's fault - you know how it is. Missed a deadline at work? Sorry, boss, but... Not my screwup - the nights on Broadway did it.

Not sure if my joke came across here, but the chorus lyrics are "Blaming it all / On the nights on Broadway" - I thought it was a witty joke when I wrote it last night but after a good night's sleep I'm not so sure.... Anyway, this is my fave BG song - it's so quintessentially 70's. If you like the intro to this song - which is totally badass, as you said, check out the Grateful Dead's "Shakedown Street" - same chord, and also quintessentially 70's.
