    This was the first recording with Barry using his "Crazy high" voice. When asked if he could add screaming highlights to the chorus, Barry said he'd give it a go and so his unique voice was discovered.

      It really is remarkable that Barry didn’t discover his falsetto before this. You can see him have to really work at this lower “chest voice”, but his falsetto looks and sounds so effortless.

      Cool - but I think that in the late-80's live version, it was Maurice who hit those high counter-notes...I could be wrong.. lol

Der beste Song für Barrys falsetto is ,,paying the price of love,, please react it. They had so many Songs. ❤❤❤

    Check out the video of them singing this song- since Barry can’t do two parts at once Maurice sings the “blame it all” falsetto parts and he kills it. No surprise since they all had killer voices!

    • @carlosfuenmayor5853

      @@LillyMarz777 Exactly. According to all the brothers they all could sing falsetto equally well and easily. Watch the 60s live of To Love Somebody. Mo belts some killer backups near the end. This is easily in their top 3 best songs! All these years later, this so g right here was done by a Reactor and it was live. It blew my mind who sang what part. Maurice is hitting the highest falsetto; Robin is sing lead and Barry is harmonizing.

    • @kudabear4898
      @kudabear4898 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Barry sings lead on "Nights on Broadway" and the falsetto on the studio version....Maurice sings falsetto when they do this song live. Robin does not sing the lead. Watch the Midnight Special live version and you will see that Barry sings lead. Sometimes it's hard to tell who's singing lead when Barry uses his chest voice instead of the whisper and falsetto voices.

    Most young people know the Bee Gees from Saturday Night Fever. Too appreciate the full extent of the Bee Gees you have to go back to when they were just 3 young boys who sang just for change and wanted one day to be famous. I prefer the version of "Too much heaven" they did live later on using their normal voices.

    Dude listen to an unrealased track named Your love will save the world ( the video), listen to Fanny be tender, listen to Be who u are, listen to Your world, listen to all their 60’ smash hits.. like Massachusets, How can u mend a broken heart ( composer are the BG’s), listen to New York Mining disaster, listen to I started a joke, listen to To love somebody (composed by the BG’s for Otis Redding),listen I just got a message to you, listen to World, listen to if I can’t have u ( Composer the BG’s not Yvonne Elliman version), listen to Run to me, listen to Heartbreaker ( Composer the BG’s not Dionne Warwick) , listen all the Album Guilty from Barbra Streisand (entire Album composed by the BG’s) listen to One, listen For whom the Bell tolls, listen to I love u inside and out..!!
    After listening all that list up..!! ⬆️⬆️
    You’ll have the minimum knowledge of what the BG’s have composed (lyrics-music-and producing) . BG’s composed more 100 hits songs in their more than 45 years carreer..! From 60´to 00’. They sold to this days more than 250 millions of albums.. They are massive huge talented musician vocalists songwriters.. Give it a try..!! And you’ll see...!
    Have a nice one.! 😊

    BeeGees are always a good listen. The big deal I think is I believe they wrote all of the songs they did. I do not think they ever performed a song they did not write (not totally certain of this, but I think this is true).

      A few. Their cover of Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow is outstanding. I like it better than Carole King's. And I wore her Tapestry album out.

    They got so many of them that I like so much that it's hard to pick a favorite however one that would be at least in my top 225 would be a song called tragedy it's got some pretty crazy killer vocals and some really awesome sound switches that's why I like it.
