The authorities don't pay attention to social media scams too much. They're barely starting now, in the mid 2020s. You have to add that these tokens that people some people (many of which shouldn't be trusted) call "cryptocurrencies" are also new things and you have another thing that makes any prosecution unlikely. Basically authorities usually consider this as something of a bet in a bar that was lost but a bit bigger. There's also the legality of it all. Regulations of "cryptocurrencies" aren't that well set up. In the US there's consensus if these tokens are securities or commodities. Securities is a legal term that encompasses shares, money (banknotes and even coins), bonds, asset backed securities (gives you revenue from assets, think of mortgage backed securities as an example), derivatives (securities with value derived from an underlying asset or security and there are multiple types: options, forwards and futures, swaps). In other words the term "securities" is a vague term. Commodities are assets that are often used. Think of gold, silver, copper, aluminium, iron, nickel, lithium, oil (petroleum), natural gas, etc.. In the US there is the Security Exchange Commission (SEC) that supervises security trading and deals and there's the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) that supervises commodity trading and deals and the trading futures and other derivatives that are backed by commodities. Basically they don't exactly know who should enforce it. If these tokens are meant to be an alternative to $ or euro or real or the yen (currencies), they should be considered securities and that's kind of how the early adopters and even the creator(s) of many of them (including Bitcoin and Satoshi Nakamoto) appear to have wanted it. If it's not supposed to be an alternative to currencies, it should be treated as a commodity. I think in the US there was an attempt to designate and regulate these digital tokens as commodities. Recently the SEC has been getting involved in taking down "cryptocurrency" platforms that aren't abiding by the rules regarding securities. Logan Paul isn't near the level of those trading platforms. You might as well contact your local authorities about this IF THERE ARE ANY VICTIMS IN YOUR AREA OR JURISDICTION (country in most cases). If it's outside of your area or the jurisdiction, don't do it because it will be seen as an unreliable report and if a victim does come forward later on there will be nothing done. There's a limit to how many prosecutors and investigators exist so resources are limited.

Governments are still grappling with the concept of E-mail. I think it will be a while before they can get their head around virtual currency and encryption algorithms. The problem is likely lack of precedent, or legislation to prosecute him.
@@helvete983 You must be grappling with the concept of government then. They have been using encryption algorithms since they have been available to both mask their top secret documents and communication with each other. They know about stuff like E-mail and messengers and social media. The only problem is that underfunded finance institutions are already completely understaffed to prosecute and investigate wall street and big money. Other crypto frauds have been investigated, SBF conviction is the most recent. The problems are missing resources for prosecution of relatively small fish. Crypto can just be argued as securities in front of court. They have been catching up and the scam brothers could be investigated for what they did and brought before court.. but it is unlikely. Well, to be fair, for as long as he doesn't have to pay anyone back nor sees any real consequences to his actions or change in his lifestyle, he has escaped it. He's a TH-camr. He knows that what he does is going to be scrutinized and he did and does it anyway and if anything, his lifestyle only gets better. Until that changes, he's escaped it and will continue to have escaped it.
Great video highlighting the lack of progress in refunding investors from Logan Paul's Crypto Zoo project. It's disappointing that Paul has yet to make good on his promise to reimburse those who lost money. His inaction is a slap in the face to the victims and sends a message that he doesn't take responsibility for his actions. It's also worrying that he seems to be focused on his other business ventures while ignoring the plight of those he harmed. I hope the class action lawsuit brings him to justice and that the victims are eventually compensated for their losses.

It's sad seeing how easily people trust and forgive certain celebrities. If a stranger walks up to you, tries to sell you something suspicious, you naturally say "no". But if a celebrity encourages you to invest in Crypto or NFTs, (or asks you to donate to Dementia Research, but never showing receipts), people instantly throw money at them.
Logan Paul has come to understand this fact: Like SSniperWolf, he is untouchable. Nobody can cancel him. Despite all the hate that they get, they still have a legion of brain-dead followers that will be forever loyal to them. And those followers give them all the power that they need. Don't expect a Jirard situation with either Logan Paul or SSSniperWolf. Unlike those grifters, Jirard at least had the capacity to feel SHAME.
Of course he hasn't, what do you expect he's been a busy boy 😂 I hate how people I work with seem to worship him, and I have to give them the side eye 😅 Feel like Coffee needs to do a follow up ❤❤
honestly. Its 2024 now. If you fall for a crypto scam, its kine of your own fault. We have had 5 years of scam after scam after scam and people are still trying. If you wanna gamble go to a casino, or buy a lottery ticket, you odds are better with that.
One of his WWE opponents needs to make mention of this in one of their promos on T.V. P.S. RDO servers are dead Muta because people, like me, were sick of the Hackers screwing up the game all the time and learned how to create solo servers. My game runs smoother than buttermilk now.
I've maintained the stance that Logan isn't worth trusting with a single cent for quite some time now, so I hope his fans will eventually see him as the deceptive con he is. I am elated to know that crypto rubbish is less popular than it used to be, though. I hope this trend continues and NFTs become a forgotten fad asap.
Logan Paul is worth many tens of millions or more, a $1M+ refund will literally not affect his life in anyway. The fact that he promised it and not do it is a sign of sociopathic behavior.
Not bashing the victims here or anything, but this was his second or third scam, and people still bought in. If he started another scam tomorrow, people would buy in. I do hope the victims get at least some of their money back through the lawsuit.
What about Liquid Marketplace? Nobody talks about that, where people have sunk in millions and got nothing back whilst the owner, Ryan Bhadori, has been having a lavished lifestyle, travelling overseas, trophy partners and splashing on brand new cars (one BMW and 2 Porsches). Rattle has covered the story but it’s dead in the water, yet there’s not a single bit of accountability, no development, nothing.
I wish we could stop calling scam victims "idiots". Id rather hear people talk about these issues because they care about the victim rather than because they dont like the scammer and you know this is going to get a lot of views.

What's baffling is how Logan & co are not investigated and jailed by now.
Governments are still grappling with the concept of E-mail. I think it will be a while before they can get their head around virtual currency and encryption algorithms.
The problem is likely lack of precedent, or legislation to prosecute him.
@@helvete983 Its a simple as being rich, you can escape legality with Lawyer team people you bought with money. To find some questionable loophole.
I am certainly not holding my breath for it. But it would be glorious.
It's crypto, there are no rules or laws.
@@plaguebunnyproductionswrong, there are rules & laws.
That timeline is hilarious. The first item is literally "sell something that isn't finished". Unbelievable.
Were people actually expecting him to? I’m just not surprised. Why don’t they file lawsuits?
The victims did file a lawsuit and logan tried to dismiss the lawsuit tried to find a solution to pay back like not even 10% what the victims lost last update I personally heard is that that asshole fired his current lawyer's and is looking for new ones
@@Echorax Oh dang, I haven’t looked that much into it. Might be a lengthy process but justice always (sometimes) prevails haha 😂 I’m sure this one will work out for the victims and I hope it does
He'll drag it for year's until the people he scammed loose interest
@@memsysr they won't lose interest. they just won't be able to afford to continue the lawsuit. civil lawyers don't give a fuck about justice, they just want that check. he'll drag it out until the victims run out of money. happens all the time
Because it costs a shlt ton of money to sue someone that famous and get away with it + not be counter sued
Appreciate the updates every 6-12 month on this story it’s been a wild ride
I was a victim in a class action lawsuit against a company with a lot of money, and it took me over 4 yrs too settle , everyone involved on my side had too agree before we could settle .. that was like 30 ppl
*to
@@MrLuvbizwar Thenks.
I was tooz but all I did was get e-mails letting me know there was a trial and when we won a I got a link where I could receive my compensation.
By the looks of it the dude didn't even care to hire a good lead designer & a good programmer to pull the scam 😂
Gotta love Muta's tenacity to release this on the first day of the year as a reminder. Happy New Year
First day of the year is a monday so its gonna be shit
but he didn't? he released it 8 hours ago, he's in Canada it was just hitting 2024 3 hours ago lol.
and no there's no west coast Canada timezones that would allow this to be a thing xD Muta would have to live off the coast a few thousand miles
It's just another day lol, doesn't matter
New Year, New Logan Paul drama
I imagine he's not paid back the investors because of litigation. He's definitely fighting this "scam" and is probably waiting to settle untill all his chips have been played and there's no other option... legally.
Watching Logan flourish and Jirard spiral is really quite fascinating. Neither situation is definitively resolved, but while the latter is losing supporters by the day, the former hasn't really lost anything significant...yet.
Their follower profiles are different.
@@kilerikAgreed. Reminds me of Illuminaugtii and Ssniperwold. Both awful women, but different kind of people follow them so different outcomes.
Was cryptozoo mishandling charitable donations? I'm not making an argument for Logan, but arguably, the completionist did something morally worse.
He may not be "cancellable", but that's not what matters. What matters is that great people like you keep exposing his actions, or inactions in this case. As long as you and others never let him live it down, he will not be able to escape it.
If you just apologize and sell drinks then there is no limit to what you can get away with!
He can do anything he wants and his fans will support him. There is nothing he can do to piss them off
Great video highlighting the lack of progress in refunding investors from Logan Paul's Crypto Zoo project. I hope the class action lawsuit brings him to justice and that the victims are eventually compensated for their losses.
true
totally agree!
In a perfect world...
Hello fellow Obsolete Dream fan
KSI needs to be under fire for not only working with this guy but for reviving his career as well
He’s waiting for people to just forget about it. Disgusting scammer.
after 4:14 "I'm not a criminal" I couldn't stop laughing for about a minute, so I have to rewind video back just to start laughing again on 4:32 "best intentions" . I bet I won't even be able to finish watching the video.
I doubt he ever intended to. He is just waiting for everyone to forget.
Yeah if anyone put money into this that wasn't disposable income that really sucks for them, I've been involved in a class action lawsuit since 2019, and I still haven't gotten all my money; they take a very long time.
His audience doesn't care, so why would he? If there's no legal repercussion, it's only a matter of time before he does it again.
I genuinely ask myself who keeps Logan in the limelight, I have never met anyone who watches or likes the paul brothers.. What gives?
We're quite literally almost 1 year out since Logan's whole failed response and there's still nothing
When he realized that being colourblind and shirtless on youtube wasn't going to pay the bills forever he went to the easiest and corniest ways to make money, being televised boxing and conning on crypto
To play devil's advocate ,Logan Paul is barely human so we can't expect him to have a heart
There's absolutely zero chance that Loscam will refund absolutely anyone. He's the biggest scammed of them all
Yes please go after this man, been scamming his fans for years.
Gotta say it's awful hard to feel sympathy for LP or any of his followers that he scammed.
It was so clear from the beginning that he would never pay back the money. I wonder why he's not being sued for the countless scams this creature committed
Because it is Crypto 😢
He is being sued for it. There's a class action lawsuit that was filed against him about a year ago. Lawsuits take time ... a long time. It'll likely be a decade or more before we see the end of this.
He just did buddy
@@arandomperson7811 Just be aware of the fact that he's only refunding those who have been HOLDING the BASE NFT. Not the people who bought the base NFT and sold it for example a week, a month or half a year ago in order to get some funds back. Those people are considered "speculators" by Logan even tho they have been scammed in the exact same way as everyone else. So no, Logan is not the good person here and will never be. He is a serial scammer, has been involved in various pump and dump schemes (e.g. Dink Doink etc). He deserves to pay back millions and be in prison for this.
"$ZOO is not an investment vehicle" Why do people allow this guy to lie like this. It is promoted as an investment vehicle. Why is there yield?!
Surprised WWE hasn’t made his crypto scamming into a storyline where one of the wrestlers cut a promo throwing a shot at him for it.
I made bank off of Zoo. I walked away with 17k. But I knew it's a gamble. Never invest money you can afford to lose. Never get too greedy!
If he hasn’t paid it back yet, he never will .. he’s hoping people just forget and move on
People like Logan Paul makes me sometimes wonder if vigilante justice is not reasonable.
I never cease to be amazed not to the amount of people willing to scam others but at amount of gullible people that fall for it, earth, the planet of the stupid.
Thanks for the Videos. Please detach your Mic from the desk. We hear every kick at the floor or the table.
I literally just checked your profile to see if you had uploaded anything or not!
Thanks for reminding us about all of this - Logan would be fine with everyone quietly forgetting any of scams ever happened
the fact someone so rich can't refund a small portion of his longterm money back to his fans is crazy and he isn't cancelled?
Only an hour in on the new year and Muta is already going after scammers
It still seems crazy to me, that these "creators" can pull all sorts of scams against their audience and still succeed. While people, like myself, are busting our balls trying to do well and struggling
still haven't refunded his scam but he allegedly had 2 bottles of prime made out of gold each valued at apparently 500k. Those 2 prime bottles would've been most of what he promised to refund lmao.
would've taken 3.
@@ZanathKariashi I mean you know that whole deal was just because of how much and how quickly prime sold right? He could've had 20 of em made and not noticed the impact to his bank. He isn't going to do that because he doesn't want to and doesn't care about his fans or reputation
If Logan can't be canceled, people that collaborate with him should be canceled. That includes for example all the people sponsored by prime like Mark Robber and Mr beast
I’m pretty sure all scams had the “best intentions going in.”
It hurts more to knowing he has funds but still not willing to return.
So has anyone noticed the open hand foundation is still trying to operate and has removed all mentions of jarard and indie land to try and cover things up
I love how much Logan Paul STILL deflects the situation by saying "I didn't scam anyone; I didn't make any money." My guy, you promised people a "really fun game, that makes you money." They lost money. You delivered on nothing you said you would. That is the definition of a scam. What an absolute clown.
I feel someone should make t-shirts that say "Never Forget" and it's a picture of Logan and Cryptozoo.
This is like asking a company to refund your money when you lost all your investments. That’s not how the stock market works buddy.
"With the best intentions. Some of the worst things imaginable have been done with the best intentions." - Alan Grant
He never will with anything less than the threat of prison time.
The year may be new but scammers are still the same
So will war, arrogance and criminals
Celebrities & CEO's try not to do something evil for 2 seconds challenge: IMPOSSIBLE!! 😱
At this point He might as well say I will never pay them back
Its wild that people like this keep getting deals and career boosts while im always getting pissed on by society
I’m still shocked the Fed hasn’t looked into this.
He is screwing over the people, not corporations or politicians...
The FEDs got more important things to deal with than some scammer that people willingly enable
One of his WWE opponents needs to make mention of this in one of their promos on T.V.
P.S. RDO servers are dead Muta because people, like me, were sick of the Hackers screwing up the game all the time and learned how to create solo servers. My game runs smoother than buttermilk now.
Jirard should pay back Logan's victims to get uncanceled 😂
Hmmm. That might work actually.😮
‘the Day Before’ atleast released a game to prevent accusations of fraud.
unless he is drawn into real litigation i doubt he will do any repayments
I mean, there is "real litigation" pending against him for exactly this sooooo.......
good! because you know as much as you can just hide from social media you can't really do that to a subpoena @@orangejjay
And history shows he won't ever need to do so.
His audience will continue to carry him as they always have.
Y'all know what's insane...That in actual real life, the villains always win. Starting with the corrupted politicians.
Amen brotha, sad but couldn't be more true.
The villains always lose in movies but always win in real life
That must explains why ''don't believe what you see in the movies'' quote exist
Thanks for talking bout this again, people seemed to have forgotten
I've maintained the stance that Logan isn't worth trusting with a single cent for quite some time now, so I hope his fans will eventually see him as the deceptive con he is.
I am elated to know that crypto rubbish is less popular than it used to be, though. I hope this trend continues and NFTs become a forgotten fad asap.
A grown man that uploads footage of a real dead body just for the clicks is CLEARLY a villain.
I’m as shocked that Logan Paul didn’t refund the victims of cryptozoo, as I am that Scott the word made a collab with jackfilms
It's crazy when you hear of a Logan Paul scam it's nothing new. You ask, which one?
Love how Paul says he’s not a criminal. Dude you know what you do and continue to do so hahaha
The people who thought that this wasn't a massive scam are the same people who spent years thinking that the X-Files were an ongoing documentary.
damn thats crazy who would of thought
but guys "he's working on it"
I wish we could stop calling scam victims "idiots". Id rather hear people talk about these issues because they care about the victim rather than because they dont like the scammer and you know this is going to get a lot of views.
