Forget about the past it is nothing but a memory. Always exist in and experience the present, the present is where you can experience God. I love his suggestions too, you can add a morning prayer to this - make it 25 minutes!
Actually, his first session of prayer as he says, is going to start before you even get out of your room in the morning. That first session is before you get out.
Sometimes I forget that Jesus is always looking for us. He always wants to welcome us back and remind us that we are loved, even when we stumble. I often feel scrupulous and shameful when coming before the Lord and I’m not entirely sure where that started but I have always been hard on myself. Thank you for this gentle approach to getting reacquainted with God. I’ve found I want to be closer to Him again, but I struggle to believe He wants anything to do with me.
This was powerful to me. Although I pray throughout the day, the divine chaplet, rosary and just certain prayers, my time sometimes gets out of focus and I can feel my prayers out of focused. I often forget just to sit and speak with God about what happened in my day and just talk and listen. The order of the day is something that I will work on doing starting now. One thing I do miss is being able to go to adoration during the week. Adoration has really helped me because it gave me time right in front of God. Father, I am thankful to God for allowing this video to be created.

I say the Divine Mercy everyday at 3pm and usually the Rosary later in the day. Recently, I've been replacing it with the Seven Sorrows Rosary and I'm at the point where I want to do more than just that!

When we ask Mother Mary and the saints to pray for us and with us we are ask them as our brothers and sisters to intercede with us to God. If you've ever read the Book of Revelation it mentions the saints praying before God. I have people asking me to pray for them---again, that's intercessory prayer---and I pray for them. Father, Thank you for another great video coaching me on the spiritual life- I would like to share with you one thing that has REALLY helped me, drastically. I have been saying the Rosary daily for years, and as you can imagine, it has changed my life. Having said that, I recently read "The Rosary - The John Paul II Method" by Robert Feeney. I'm a Protestant, but I want to thank you for your godly advice. I have a mental prayer list for healing for several people that I try to go through 2x on my short drive home from work. And sometimes in the shower I pray through a list of people who need salvation. I'm not as disciplined as I should be!!! Sometimes I stand outside with coffee and run through some prayer concerns. I'm sure everyone are all busy with their days including myself but I've been trying to listen to the daily Readings from the Laudate app's podcast daily while on my way to work, hoping that I'm a bit closer to God some way somehow. And then I'm trying to pray nightly after work to reflect the day's work/activities with God/Mother Mary through the Rosary prayer. But definitely will take your input to try to add the 10min from the morning hour before the day starts as well. God bless. May the Lord have Mercy on us all.

great praying strategy, what I do is morning Laudes (don´t know if that´s the word in English too) then Lectio Divina, Angelus followed by bible in a year, second time year btw and then cathecism in a year, then at night Laudes (completes), followed reading of the Gospel of the day, Angelus again and if not too tired rosary. Any advise will be welcome as long as it´s constructive. Blessings

Sometimes I forget that Jesus is always looking for us. He always wants to welcome us back and remind us that we are loved, even when we stumble. I often feel scrupulous and shameful when coming before the Lord and I’m not entirely sure where that started but I have always been hard on myself. Thank you for this gentle approach to getting reacquainted with God. I’ve found I want to be closer to Him again, but I struggle to believe He wants anything to do with me.
This was powerful to me. Although I pray throughout the day, the divine chaplet, rosary and just certain prayers, my time sometimes gets out of focus and I can feel my prayers out of focused. I often forget just to sit and speak with God about what happened in my day and just talk and listen. The order of the day is something that I will work on doing starting now. One thing I do miss is being able to go to adoration during the week. Adoration has really helped me because it gave me time right in front of God. Father, I am thankful to God for allowing this video to be created.

I'm a Protestant, but I want to thank you for your godly advice. I have a mental prayer list for healing for several people that I try to go through 2x on my short drive home from work. And sometimes in the shower I pray through a list of people who need salvation. I'm not as disciplined as I should be!!! Sometimes I stand outside with coffee and run through some prayer concerns. I'm sure everyone are all busy with their days including myself but I've been trying to listen to the daily Readings from the Laudate app's podcast daily while on my way to work, hoping that I'm a bit closer to God some way somehow. And then I'm trying to pray nightly after work to reflect the day's work/activities with God/Mother Mary through the Rosary prayer.
But definitely will take your input to try to add the 10min from the morning hour before the day starts as well.

Been in your shoes for a long time. Think of it this way: as Father said, we ALL are made in God's image, so it's not just ourselves, but every single human being we have and will ever encounter as well. I'd suggest next time you meet someone, try to focus on the parts that signify them as God's precious children, their good and holy qualities. Hope this helps
Perhaps we can all think of our vulnerability, in our relationships with other people, as one way in which we make a sacrifice on this earth. Who are we to not be relational, when Christ had to turn the other check and trust His disciples that completely betrayed Him. If He was able to, at the very least, we must strive for this in our lives and not cut ourselves off from others. What a Grace we might extend to others!

All priests are different, some called for different things like exorcist or bishop which I would assume they do a lot more praying. Bishop Barron and Fulton Sheen suggest one hour before the blessed sacrament.

great praying strategy, what I do is morning Laudes (don´t know if that´s the word in English too) then Lectio Divina, Angelus followed by bible in a year, second time year btw and then cathecism in a year, then at night Laudes (completes), followed reading of the Gospel of the day, Angelus again and if not too tired rosary. Any advise will be welcome as long as it´s constructive. Blessings
