I have Canbus errors stored and prese t in memory for a short to ground but as far as I can tell everything seems to be working fine. Should I even bother to fix it?
i have a mercedes W205. my OCM (overhead controlmodule is not working. had it tested they say its fine. there is power. they say promblem with the CAN-bus. no lights working nothing

The code is 010187, I connect the scanner and it tells me communication with the tcm is faulty, the message is lost and also when i select N or D or R gears sound cracking down to where the ism is. How much is a can bus replacement estimate i have w204 2012 c300 water got into car no audio and command isn't working anymore sometimes a lot of modules stop working esp/srs/tpms etc and car won't turn on Mercedes told me $1200 to start cleaning them but no guarantee it'll fix they said front SAM is good
The last Mercedes I looked at that had a water damaged module wasn't available to get from Mercedes any more. The price is crazy but I could believe it, trying to quote with water damage is hard. Thanks for watching
Hi, I've been searching the internet for hours looking for a solution. I have a problem with the cambus. Steering wheel controls don't work, and when I turn the key the radio won't turn on. gives me error (U2101-00 canbus maximum configuration list not programmed). I tried unplugging the battery for 1 hour but the problem is still there. I was wondering if you had any idea what this error is and possibly how to fix it. I hope you answer me since the video is years old. I thank you in advance.
@@mikedean271 I went to my mechanic. he told me that it should be the fault of the display that gives the radio information. now i am waiting for the replacement display. 🤞 thank you so much for your reply
It is hard to give advice like this for me, do you have a fault with a module on the can bus system, or were you wanting to know how to connect the oscilloscope leads to the can lines.
I wouldn't know, I would have to find my way around the car with it in front of me. I wouldn't like to point you in a direction that could cause damage to your car. Sorry that I have not helped you.

Same issue here. Miscommunication canbus and radio . Have you had it fixed?

And one wire on can and other wire on battery or wear thanks

This was on the left side of the car (if you are sitting in it) although it's a right hand drive car, so I don't know if that changes things
