This is actually huge for the entire UFC community. Paulo is a huge personality and so many Brazilian stars usually refuse to sharpen their english. He speaks so well but he’s also interesting! This interview just gave him so many fans.
How many people make an effort to sharpen their Portugese? It is not so much a refusal, English is well known to be one of the hardest languages to learn, just seems very natural when it is your native language. I am English by the way.

I’ve been following Paulo for 6 years now. He was a big promise here in Brazil. He used to come out as very arrogant and entitled, which I felt was justified given the trail of bodies he was leaving behind. Ever since his loss to Israel, he’s been changing into something much better. He’s still a very different person in contrast to his English persona. He’s not funny at all in Portuguese, but he is a straight shooter. Says what he means and means what he says.
This "secret juice" idea is just genius. Paulo is building and promoting a brand before it's release to the market... imagine what would happen if he ends up launching any kind of protein/hydration/recovery product under that name!

I can't believe I actually used to dislike Paulo at one point, but he really grew on me during his press conferences with Izzy and now he's one of my favorite fighters in the UFC.
