I love grant, but he did the exact opposite of Dana regarding employees during Covid. Dana was willing to cover his whole staff, Grant fired a whole division of employees. Not saying one is right or one is wrong, but what a stark difference. I do hope it was a learning moment from Dana to Grant. I remember when Grant fired everyone I thought the same thing Dana just said. Wow he just canned everyone so fast, not much loyalty there. It did make my spider senses go up. Grant- still love you, but maybe Dana just dropped a gem on you. So much value in this conversation, thanks for sharing guys.
Dana only did that during the pandemic because the ufc needed 42 events in 2020 to get there 750 million dollars from espn, he didn't do it for everything or anyone but the money.
Dana is the most giving person i have ever encounter, i work in the hospitality industry in vegas and when Dana comes to Aria every employee gets excited from valet to limo driver to server, long live Dana
I normally don’t like Grant’s interviews. This one was good because he spoke with someone more successful than himself. He asked good questions without the ego. Keep doing that.

He did this. Dana with some help actually did this. He brought it into the main stream, highest, most profitable, record breaking gates, top notch tv production, international shows, the PI, gyms, specialists, healthcare, everything. Crazy to think what all of us can be capable of doing giving it our all

Grant, many props to u admitting to shutting down Miami ans owning it. U speak the truth good or bad. Most people would avoid talking about this. You hit it dead on. Keep speaking facts and the truth
I've been following this sport since it's inception and this is one of the best Dana White interviews out there. He broke multiple stories here. The timing of the ESPN guy having to step down and buying the rights for DVD's etc., from Lionsgate... those are big stories. What really resonated with me was when the savage was born at 15 years old. I grew up raised by my mom with no adult male in the house. You're constantly thinking about protecting your mother and your siblings and that fear is always in the back of your mind that you're going to have to protect you household. It's the reason I started martial arts and wrestling as a kid. Very interesting.

Best life lesson from two of the biggest inspirational figures in the world 🤯, shit you don’t learn in school, I was at the last 10X conference before Covid bullshit, definitely prepared me for what came after, spent the whole time pushing like a savage developing my property in Houston pushing for my next phase of my project which is rental property being a average dude with dreams this really puts things in perspective💯
Here's a perfect example of two guys who have a lot in common, but also are completely different... but are willing to bond and shoot the shit and confront each other with out being sensitive and hurt when the other doesn't agree or just lives differently.
Am I the only one who thinks Cardone doesn't sound that intelligent when he speaks? Like Dana is not a highly educated person but is leagues ahead when it comes to communicating his thoughts.
33:40 I'll answer this for Grant. Dana has a natural Duchenne smile. When he smiles, the skin around his orbitals crinkle up. That particular smile is the only smile in the human repertoire that conveys true compassion to others. People see his genuine nature and honesty through the wrinkles in his cheek and around his eyes.
So much respect for Dana. He’s the type of guy anybody would be blessed to work for! I love how he called Grant right out about firing those 40 people😂
The fight game is the only thing I'm passionate about. Im 36 and not doing what i want in life. I'm taking Dana's advice and quitting my job to work for the UFC in Vegas. Not sure what I'll do but I'll start from the bottom because at least I'd be working towards a goal and not having groundhog day year after year

Grants a clown. Watch his interview with Jordan Belfort. He’s a con!
Grant will soon be in jail if people don’t invest. He’s in a big ponzi
The 2 businesses are very so not the same though. The UFC NEEDS a lot of staff to function. Real estate, not so much
Dana only did that during the pandemic because the ufc needed 42 events in 2020 to get there 750 million dollars from espn, he didn't do it for everything or anyone but the money.
I love how they respect each other enough for Dana to tell Grant he was wrong for letting people go. And Grant for seeking that advice and taking it.

Nailed it exactly. When he’s with someone he looks up to which is very rare, he looks like an eager kid in school. Can’t contain his excitement.
Try holding back on negative comments and put downs. That’s a major learning. Liking and not liking is a dead giveaway. Consumer - not Creator.

I'm loyal to a fault as well. All my employees never missed a day of work because of the plan demic
Dana is talking about never laying people off during Covid and Grant is there thinking I laid a bunch of people off
Lot of people had to make hard decisions for their businesses and in hindsight might of been wrong or right.
That are many a man that sound intelligent who are actually idiots.
Greatest Fight Promotor Ever. Not even a close second.
Grant that was one hell of an interview! Great stuff! I appreciate both you guys! Lots to be taken in here
This interview definitely illuminates the difference between B’s and M’s.
My first time hearing Dana White talk. Didn't even know who he was. I heard the name a few times but never knew he owned UFC. Good guy.
So much respect for Dana. He’s the type of guy anybody would be blessed to work for! I love how he called Grant right out about firing those 40 people😂
Dana did such an amazing job to the point where ppl have been calling "MMA" UFC for the past 10 years
The fight game is the only thing I'm passionate about. Im 36 and not doing what i want in life. I'm taking Dana's advice and quitting my job to work for the UFC in Vegas. Not sure what I'll do but I'll start from the bottom because at least I'd be working towards a goal and not having groundhog day year after year
