- The California fires in Pacific Palisades, Alta Dena and Malibu in recent weeks have been devastating. By all accounts, Pacific Palisades was an oceanside paradise of a community, where residents raised families, held holiday parades and were thankful for the blessing of living in beautiful homes in the temperate Southern California climate with a nearby ocean breeze.
In these episodes from the TV series Million Dollar House Hunters (filmed over the last several years) we can get a bittersweet glimpse into the now lost luxurious Pacific Palisades lifestyle - with the hopes that it can be rebuilt.
We don't have the addresses for all these homes or current information on the show's participants - and do not know which structures have succumbed to the fires and which have survived, but there's no doubt that whether their homes are still standing or lost, the lives of all the residents of Pacific Palisades have been changed forever - and the rebuilding process for all will be a long road.

Unfortunately, we don't know the exact addresses of these homes. Looking at the news reports, it seems that over 6000 'structures' burned in the Palisades fire, which could include businesses - and may also count garages or other separate buildings as unique. That number likely also includes some structures & homes actually located in Malibu.
There seems to be somewhere between 8-10,000 overall households in Pacific Palisades - so, there's a chance that not all the homes in the shows are gone, but of course we're devastated for the ones that are.

Those houses were built with plywood instead of reinforced concrete and bricks as we do in Europe, and in a pro fire area they should had installed a water system to protect in case of fire. Pity cause the area is nice been there years ago.

There are still many homes still standing in Pacific Palisades - but yes, this was filmed prior to the fires, and I'm sure you are right that a number of these houses are likely now gone.
