Oh yes!! This older white lady loves Pose!! As someone who was around back in the late 70's to the mid 80's working and partying in Manhattan, hanging out on the LES and the West Village in many gay bars/clubs, having been to a few ballroom events with a trans friend who was Hispanic who was in the balls, this show brings back all those great times. It really was a fantastic time in NYC.
He pitched the show 150 times! Listen people, never internalize a NO. Say thank you for your time and keep pushing forward.

Sweet Crimson I think because they use “theatre make up” which is what is usually used on actors and actresses and she probably has a more natural makeup look on here. I actually like her better with the more natural makeup like she has here.

GMA had the opportunity to ask some very intelligent, thought-provoking, societal- driven questions and they went with show us some face, a pose. There are episodes that absolutely make my heart ache. I thought watching Angel cry was bad until I saw Papi cry. I hope this world eventually evolves to see everyone as people who deserve equitable, if not equal rights.
If you will note the segment probably lasted no longer than 5 minutes. Five or 10 minutes is hardly adequate to expound on any "intelligent societal driven" questions. It was a publicity spot to keep buzz going about "Pose." Nothing more. Nothing less.
The presidential candidates were given 60 seconds per question. You can say a lot in 5 minutes, but whatevs, just seemed trivialized to me.

@@jonwiley2592 nah thats bullshit and you know it. every fucking minute counts to utilize the power that these few moments on a platform so big that could reach millions of people at a time can make so yes they definitely could of asked real and honest questions in those five mins and they should of. it's disrespectful honestly and you cant call this an interview. this was wytes asking them to entertain them outside of the show in a way almost so that they keep em as their characters as if they're not real people with real stories and important messages that could of been discussed. its disrespectful and almost shows that the interviewers dont have the intelligence to engage with their guests in a way that actually talks and critiques and analyzes things.
