Terrific Workshop Video Log. I'm looking forward to seeing Dave's progress on the BSA Street Scrambler!

Nice one!. Wish I had a workshop full of old bikes like yours (plus the skills to work on them!🤣). Great informative video. Nuff said. 🙂

P11 a cool looking bike. The high level pipes really make it.

Would like to see more about a mysterious BSA bike shown on tv which was a forward facing twin engine and gearbox unit, OHC, and could rev. Up to 10,000..Thought to be able to win big-time. But management wouldn't enter it because the designers couldn't guarantee it would win... Did others see it.?

In case you hadn't seen it your BSA has the machining to take a rev counter, they are driven by an extension to the oil pump like the A65, in the 70s I had a 350 Goldie that had been fitted with a Rocket motor, that had a Lyta tank, the Eddie Dow Superleggra top yoke and steering damper knob, the double damped fork conversion and his TLS brake, that was areal stopper if you can find one.

Great to see the Scott close to completion and Dave's work on his new project bike will be interesting to watch (a kind of 'Spitfire Scrambler' tribute ?) - Dave's workshop updates are always a good watch so keep 'em coming please !

Hmmm, reckon it's gonna be more of a Street Scrambler, Dave's own take on one. He's had the Triumph 1200 Scrambler and Royal Enfield Sram and really likes them for the rough roads out here, Alex

@@TheClassicMotorcycleChannel2 Good point well made !.. (although I suppose the A10 Spitfire Scrambler would come under the 'Street Scrambler' banner too..)

Love that little Norton, have never seen one here in AUS, but I can’t wait to see the progress on your project bike, that will be stunning

With regards to your Triumph 900 Sprint, I had one for a few years and (I don't know if this will help) it really didn't like Bridgestone or Michelin tyres. I put Avons on and it never complained again.

Hello Dave, the A10 seat appears to be a Feridax racing seat for me. Greetings from Germany

If the bike is from 1962 and isnt an RGS, it will be a Super Rocket. My 63 SR has the same prefix DA10r and the HHC (high compression high lift camshaft) under. It is the same engine as the RGS.
    Road Rockets ended in 57

Wasn't it the P11 which was Buddy Holly's favourite bike? I know someone famous liked his but not sure exactly who? I think anyone but you would have made the project bike into an RGS rather than transforming it into a street bike, It will make a lovely tourer!

    I had a 1965 650 BSA.
