Hi, i would like to ask you, i’ve many times to try rendering , but when the render is starting, the garment always fall from the avatar, maybe you have a solution

Hey! Yes, I have definitely experienced this. So frustrating when you come back to your render after hours and the garment is on the floor.
Anyway, one sure fire way to make a garment stay on the body is to use the "Tack to Avatar" tool. It lives in the same spot as the "Tack to Garment" tool. You can choose one or two key positions for the tacks so the garment doesn't look stiff, still able to move around the body enough.
Another way is the "Attach to Measure" tool in the tape measure tool. You have to create a measurement on the avatar body first, then use the attach tool to make a pattern edge stick to that measurement.
Also, if its a scenario where the neckline is wide and eventually stretches out when movement is involved, you can use the Elastic Property to make it stay the 2D line length. Just set the neckline on your patterns to Elastic ratio 100, or even 99/98.
      Hope this helps :)

hey, I have checked the save video box, but i got seperate images only and I didnt get the video, please help.

Hey there, so could you be looking over the video? It saves with all of the other image files and can blend in sometimes. It will either be at the very top or bottom of the group. Otherwise, if there is no video, there is a chance the render was interrupted. Sorry you're having difficulties!

How did you make different poses while animation is on ? Could you please show also? Thank you very much

    • @vanhertenouterwear

Hi, to render animation, you have to first apply motion files to your avatar and let your garment motion record. The different poses and movement come from those motion files. Find them in the library under Avatar. Other motion files can be used from Mixamo, but it's more tedious.

    Your video is so amazing.
Is there a way for me to save the video midway in rendering?
I've been rendering for 5 hours and it's not even up to half the video.

Aw, thanks, that's very kind of you.
The video rendering process can be super frustrating. Unfortunately, the only way to get your video file is to wait until the rendering is complete. BUT, there is one alternative. The video is essentially made of hundreds of images, right? The video can only be saved after the very last frame has been rendered out as an image. But you have the images on your device, at least the images up to the point of stopping the render. You can composite these into a video if you want. Some people do this for lots of other reasons. Hope it works out, one way or another! :)

Hi! Thank you for the video, it was super helpful. Could you please advise if there is any way to save the render video after I have already rendered a bunch of pngs withoult checking Save the video box? it took me 22 hours to render this. or should I compile it myself now?

    • @vanhertenouterwear
      @vanhertenouterwear  ปีที่แล้ว

Hey! I'm so glad the video was of some help!
The animation rendering can be a major pain, especially for the amount of time it takes. Unfortunately the video file doesn't exist if the "Save video" box wasn't checked. But, if the .pngs are all there, you can absolutely composite them all yourself into a video.
Sorry that happened, but on the bright side, I bet that lesson is thoroughly learned.
One other thing, 22 hours is quite a long time. Do you remember how long the video playtime was? It could be that a setting or property is causing your renders to take extra long.

@@vanhertenouterwear thanks for your reply! Yep, I wanted high resolution and quality and my computer is not the fastest one. I’ve already compiled a video in adobe premier. And yes, the lesson is well learned:)

@@taken2397 haha, well at least you got your video out of it in the end. If you really love CLO or just digital fashion design in general, you might be able to find a gaming PC for relatively cheap. Just something to look into/invest in for the future :). good luck with everything!

To see the HDRI image place in the background, they have changed the icons for this. Above the environment map, you'll see three icons at the top right. Click the 3rd icon all the way on the right side to make the HDRI image visible. Is that what you were referring to? If not, I'll need more info
