Hi Viktor. I change my rx450h 2010 transmission fluid. I poured in 6 quarts of Toyota transmission fluid on it before it started dripping out from the filling cap. But on the manual it said the transmission fluid should be 4.6 litres or 4.8 quarts. What should I do? Drain a 1 quart out?
@@ndudirimemeruem7711 make sure that you are filling it through the correct fill plug, as shown in this video. Some transmissions have a fill plug on the opposite side that sits too high. It should take less than 5 quarts.
I know that you wanted to demonstrate the procedure. But the the old fluid in the video still looks pretty new, no? How often to change this fluid and the rear differential fluid? Thank you!
Hi Viktor, i just did this procedure on a 2010 rx450h. I measured how much came out and it was a bit over 4 qaurts. However, when i refilled it took about 3.5 qaurts before it started to trickle out. Should i be concerned? I did this in a flat garage without lifting the vehicle.
@@repsolrspower sounds like it was a bit overfilled to begin with, I wouldn’t worry about it. As long as you filled it until it is spilling out of the fill plug opening, you are good.

Hallo, ich habe an meinem RX450h das Getriebeöl gewechselt ATF WS Das Auto ist 2009 350 000 km wahrscheinlich das erste mal. Seit dem habe ich Problem P2603 kann mir jemand helfen bitte? Danke!
Could be the oil pump fuse or relay or wiring harness/connector damage or corrosion, or the oil pump itself. I can’t see it being caused by transmission fluid replacement, unless you didn’t refill the transmission or accidentally pulled on the electrical connector or something like that. You would need to methodically diagnose the system to pinpoint the source of the failure.
