    I'm British, I agree with most of what you said although the weather doesn't bother me as it's always been this way. One thing you didn't mention was our appalling health care. Practically impossible to see a GP or dentist now, waiting lists are horrendous and hospitals are awful, terrible lack of beds, staff and proper care. My mother waited 10 hours for an ambulance and spent 3 days in A&E waiting for a bed, she died a few hours after finally getting into a ward. Getting sick here scares me more than anything else.

    This is the problem when you expect everything for nothing. In my day and age we left school at 15. Had to go to work and any education needed we had to pay up front. This is the way it should be now. Work as you learn for a better life. In my old age I am fed up of paying most of my savings to fund anyone walking into our country exploiting what we have worked for 50 + years. If we did not have the money we went without. Malaysia is only fun when you earn in USD or other stronger currencies. The average Malaysian is having a hard time making ends meet, especially with the influx of wealthy western retirees into our cities, which is driving up the cost of rent. While the poor foreign labours dominate the lower cost rental units and turning the place, unsavoury. The high cost is now being felt by everyone especially by young people who moved to the city to work. Living in a country with a majority of Muslims has its perks no doubt, but I would much rather work overseas, develop my career, earn my little pot of gold, and then retire home. Sadly emigrating for work is not without sacrifices. I can only hope, our currency will bounce back up once again. I love this country but our leaders are morons.

    Real British people don't chase money or wealth, it is hasn't been our cultural motivation for working. An Indian doctor said to me that if she had known how hard a doctor has to work for how much, she would have chosen to become a stock broker instead. Going into the medical profession used to be a calling, not to get rich. Historically, the British working class are content to have enough to provide for their families. The major issues in the UK, is uncontrolled immigration overwhelming our country. Bear in mind that 70% of Muslim women don't work in the UK, 50% of people living in our social housing is occupied by foreign nationals. I agree with you about education. The class size is far too big, when I went to school in the 50s, there were 11 children in our class, all girls, all white. At secondary school there were about 20 children in our class with one Indian boy. It's not safe anywhere in the UK now due to immigration and the country is trillions in debt, what did you expect with such high immigration? I don't agree with foreign aid at all. Some Muslim friends left about 15 years ago, some went back to Egypt, (their children stayed, they were born here and were more English due to an English mother) some went to Dubai. Another Muslim doctor friend said she was going to Dubai once her son finished his education. Overall, I think Muslims should live in Muslim countries, otherwise that tension in the west is going to get worse and worse. If they don't stop the immigration there will be a civil war, we are on the brink of it. Our British patriots are doing our utmost to stop it getting to a point of civil war, but if we can't change it peacefully and lawfully, then you know what comes next.

      Council tax increases are actually only a tiny factor in the cost of living hikes. The biggest increases are in other items that are monopolies like utility costs and car insurance. The current inflation rate is quoted at less than 4% but that's based on an unrealistic basket of goods. Most people need utilities and a car to get to work and these two costs have more than doubled.

      As my comment has been magically deleted. I write it again. To the Argentinian and to all other racist immigrants and natives.
      How could you be entitled to complain about immigration when yourself are an immigrant aswell even though you came in Thatcher's era. So here we are blaming immigration for all the problems in a country that colonised half of the planet and have stolen all their resources before leave.
      What a world we live in! Hypocrisy at his finest!
      But you won't mention the corruption of all governments that gift away BILLIONs of pounds of those hard earned taxes over DECADES to Israel (to perpetuate the white supremacythat we are still witnessing today).

That includes those who took their pension and spent it in another country rather than on their children and the land that raised them. Money and greed will keep you running until there is nowhere free left to go.

It is not people like Saira that were or are the problem, I'd say she's smart enough to have woken up and fortunate enough to have had chance to do something about it. Remember baby P or little Arthur labinjo-Huges who was abused by his dad and stepmum? Plenty of abuse from white parents and they abuse children in Africa and Asia when they do their “volunteering”

    I share your strong views and sentiments. Have been living and working in the UK for over 20 years and have decided to return to the safety of my home country. After lots of issues with the strikes, taxation and whatever is being said here in the UK, I don't miss it...but maybe the beautiful spring and summer weather. In Singapore, I am getting used to the warm weather here now. My family, who are British, still keep our homes there, but I do hope they will join me here for good.

    Secondary school teachers are quitting in droves. The bullying in high school is out of control and children are just out of control. Kids are then bombarded with TikTok at home and play video games all day indoors. Kids are suffering in silence and many are depressed just like their parents and grandparents. The worst I have seen is the treatment of the elderly who have contributed all their lives to the NHS only to struggle to pay for medications and wait months for treatment for chronic conditions. I still have hope for the UK and pray that things turn around but the threat of war is on the horizon and that introduces security fears. Let's pray for the UK cause some people are so so nice and I miss my super nice clients.

    • @abody499
      @abody499 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

       @UP89Productions just like every capitalist does. this one refers to "property", which she never built, and whose value was inflated because of the reluctance to re-supply the market, including the council housing that was sold off, creating over demand and high rents, artificially pumping the value of the property. then she complains about paying taxes, leaving because it's too much for her and because the country is badly run, yet forgets it's exactly her wealth extracting activities that are bleeding the country dry and starving public services of funding. everything that was in place for her to do nothing and make money was built by me and my ancestors, and every other true working brit's efforts. know your enemy.
