Even till date, the arterial EastCoastRoad which connects Chennai to Kanyakumari is silently handed over to this community who controls it even now. Every 20 to 35 kms very big mosques and their ecosystems like restaurants, hotels had mushroomed which are owned by this community and the govt lands on which these mosques, businesses are constructed are freely given by the dmk vermins!!
