  • Today I work on a 15 year old 100,000 mile Mercedes CLK
    this car is given a deep clean prior to resale :)
    With a budget of £450 you can see a behind the scenes of the used car trade, and what's expected and carried out on a limited budget. the whole car was detailed over 2 days.

    Your end results are much better than most of the detailers on TH-cam and i really learn the details of the detailing after watching yours and some other channel videos.
    My only complaint here is that i want to watch more so please make long videos.

    • @Schizophonic12
      @Schizophonic12 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When I watched the bit of the wheel I thought you were more experienced and then noticed the one bucket and what looks like a sponge I stopped the video.

    • @everydaydetailing6449
      @everydaydetailing6449  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi
      I have used a EZ wheel brush in previous videos 👍
      But as an expert you will know that the older Merc's have the rear of the alloy wheels left in grey primer from factory, unlike today where everything is powder coated.
      At 15 years old this has deteriorated heavily and leaves little to no point in cleaning flakey grey primer.
      The sponge is a wool wash mitt, can be seen in my latest van video as well 😉
      And the two bucket wash method is fantastic on a well looked after well cared for pride of joy, the cars I work on are anything but cared for .. that's the whole point of the channel, a one bucket is fine on a car that's about to have a heavy paint correction..

    Great work. As you say a trade job. You 'have' to do it at that price to get more regular work.
    It is a real improvement and only looking more closely do you see where more could be done.
    It would satisfy 99% of the trade seller's customers and get the sale.
    You need to show people what £900 can achieve.

    Enjoy most of the valeting and detailing channels, this one along with Autoshine are the best out there.
    For a trade valet your customers are getting best value for money in UK.
    Merc came up immaculate finish with what you did with it, plus the invisible job the leather refurb guy did.
    It's trade detailing you give them, not just a valet!
    Great set up to work on cars too with the lift. But for doing mats and wheels etc, don't wait until the pain takes over to get yourself a work table!
