On This Day: Princess Diana Holidays in Majorca, 1988
On this Day, in 1988, Princess Diana and Prince Charles were holidaying in Majorca with their children, Princes William and Harry, and the Spanish royals.
They were the guests of King Juan Carlos of Spain and his wife Queen Sofia, and they stayed at their holiday home, the Marivent Palace, which is situated just outside the capital city of Palma.
There’s no doubt they enjoyed their time in Majorca, as they visited in the summers of 1986, 1987, 1988 and 1990.
When they weren’t posing for the press, they’d often accompany the Spanish royals on their yacht, 'Fortuna', visit the small island of Cabrera and sunbathe at Ses Illetes beach.
Dearest Diana, you are not recognised as a queen by the royal family but by the people, by our heart

I live in the US and kept up with Princess Diana, I was there for her funeral. I still have the dvd of the song the was sung at her funeral. Elton John did a beautiful job with that song. The book about her life, which wasn't easy, but she held her head up head with a smile. Who couldn't like like Princess Diana?. I know of no one. God took part of the blue sky and made pretty eyes and sent an Angel. I will alway hold her two son close to my heart. They both have had a hard time. I do believe Queen Elizabeth hold Prince William and Harry close to her heart and really believe she loves both of them and their family.
The Spanish Royals are very good looking, they look like movie stars. ❤❤❤❤👏👏👏👏
