I love dude’s parody of it but that other page was dead serious & other sources claimed he was mad, I was like him & Lionel Richie wrote the song, he performed it, like he’d not have say in who’d be signing it too? LOL.. I think he often looked exactly like that, serious & chillin’.

The restaurant collected 10k and it was donated to Cardinal Glennon Hospital for Children.
This restaurant was in a very small city so 10 k was a lot especially back then

😳 Wow!!! I believe this was 84 - 85 I believe 84 though something like that anyway, I was at one of the job's I had at the time I was quite a bit younger I believe 19 it was a very popular restaurant in my hometown after 4yrs in Ft Leonardwood MO my first husband was in the military, anyway at this restaurant they were doing a big event for the community I was a soix chef and had to start chop up gallons and gallons of onions, tomatoes, pickles, make gallons and gallons of ranch house dressing ( absolutely delicious I might add) tubs and tubs and tubs of potato salad fryed chicken, catfish, shaved roastbeef and so on, it was so fun I loved it, they were doing in because of this song, it was a very awesome country at this time, we spread love and happiness ❤❤❤ MJ
MJ was at the top and remained there for many years he was right where he deserve to be and should have always been, but we live in a whole different world and idol most definitely don't think it's even close to how wonderful the world was during the time of this song it truly was amazing!!
He most definitely was not mad, He had to be very proud he had brought all these people together it was his Master "Peace" after all!!!
