- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 11 ก.พ. 2010
- Recorded on February 1st, 2010, in the same studio as the original 25 years earlier (Henson Recording Studios, formerly A&M Recording Studios) "We Are The World 25 For Haiti", in which Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie serve as executive producers and producers, was created in collaboration with executive producers Wyclef Jean, Randy Phillips and Peter Tortorici; producers Humberto Gattica and RedOne; and co-producers Rickey Minor, Mervyn Warren and Patti Austin to benefit the Haitian earthquake relief efforts and the rebuilding of Haiti.
Academy Award-winning writer-director Paul Haggis (Crash, Million Dollar Baby), whose own personal efforts as well as those of Artists for Peace and Justice have already saved countless lives in Haiti, filmed the private recording session to create the accompanying video and behind-the-scenes production, and serves as Film Director and as an Executive Producer with Jones, Richie, Jean, Phillips and Tortorici.
The 25th Anniversary recording features over 80 artists and performers. The recording of We Are The World 25 For Haiti embodied the same enthusiasm, sense of purpose and generosity as the original recording 25 years ago. Every one of the artists who participated, regardless of genre or generation, walked into the room with their hearts and souls completely open to coming together to help the people of Haiti. - เพลง
Micheal Jackson was awesome for writing this. May Micheal rest in peace.
i get chills every time i hear michael sing his part
its Michael Jackson who tried to make the world a better place. RIP King of Music!
I love Celine's part!!!
The range of Celin Dion just gave me the chills... I can't stop listening to this song. Every single time, the same chills of seeing AMAZING artists singing.
The Celine Dion and MJ part literally killed me.
Sang this song as the last song of 8th grade, I had 3 parts, 1 of which was a solo for Michael Jacksons famous part. I was nervous out of my mind but so honored. I love this song. R.I.P Michael Jackson.
Michael Jackson died in 25 June 2009, And this video was made in 2010 so yes he was. R.I.P King of Pop :)
Amazing! Celine Dion - WHAT A VOICE! Miley Cyrus has a good voice too, look at Jennifer Hudson.. so talented!
Still think the original is better. I'm taking nothing from these individuals but I just don't feel anyone could top the original.. Michael Jackson, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, etc... Classic
MICHAEL JACKSON IS UNCHANGEABLE BECAUSE OF HIS GREAT VOICE...THUMPS UP IF YOU AGREE WITH ME
Micheal still inspiring the world!
R.I.P Micheal, we miss you!
I get goosebumps when Celine starts singing! She's amazing! :D
Celine Dion...A Legend Diva of Pop
At first I heard the original version and then I listened to that ... the beginning: Lionel Richie vs. Justin Bieber ... I laughed so hard XD
I kept replaying Celine's part again and a again. (: Her voice is so powerful. (:
while seeing and listening to this video cant help my tears from falling seeing those people and kids ... :(
i prefer original version.
The best voice for me is Celine Dion. She gave goose bumps when she sang.
Miley actually did great in this song.
Celine Dion = One Powerfull Voice
MJ's still inspiring until now. :)
I may not be the original but I liked it... it gave me the chills!
Celine Dion rocks, I love her voice. She is stunning! I will forever love her :)
hands down the best vocals in this are Michael
This is awesome! Way to honor and carry out Michael's initiative.
I liked the video and the song!! But Michael even though sang in the past was still the best...
I love celines part and i love that she can hit those notes too..amazing!!!!
Michael still coolest person in this video after over 25 years.. thats cool people
I love listening to all of their different voices come together!
this song can obviously never compare to the original....but it is remarkable that they all came together ti do this!!! it is wonderful in it's own way!!!....so comparing singers makes no sense..cause they are all talented in their own way!!! i love this version *not as much as I love the first* especially the way they added the rap part they added a little of modern music to it loved it!!!!!
Its amazing that people from all music genres can come together and make this beautiful music, and the reason, to help people, is even more amazing
Adam, Pink, Usher, and Celine..just wow
I started crying
I liked pink and some of the other singers and I like the message of different styles and cultural backgrounds coming together to sing. Seeing them all sing together made me smile. That must have been such a cool experience.
I wonder what T-Pains real voice sounds like O.O
Celine Dion.........class Diva
seeing lil wayne sing this is kinda weird, but much paid respect to the message given from this video!!!!
this video always brings me to tears. when i feel like i'm having a hard time, i can watch this and gain the strength to keep following my dreams.
Celine Dion.
I love you Celine Dion!!! You are the most amazing ever!!!
2:22 my face lit up im so happy r.i.p mj i love you xx
This version of the song came out when I was in 8th grade, and I listened to it nonstop! Eventually, I started to imagine what it would be like if my whole grade got together and sang this for some event kinda like this. I imagined this for months and then when 8th grade graduation came, the whole chorus sang this and in my mind, I was going "MY GOD I'M PSYCHIC!!"
I'm so happy they didn't take MJ out of the video :) He is a LEGEND. -3
I really like how Wyclef sung in his native tongue., it showed he had a real personal connection (:
- 2:21 OMJ! We L.OV.E. you Michael!!! *-*
listen up all of the people who r disrespecting this song it doesnt matter who is singing or how they r doing it what matters is that they understand that everyone has an obligation to there fellow man to help them when they are in need. if u were in need or ur family or ur town or country needed help after a crisis how grateful would u b if someone spent there time making sure that the word got out and did whatever they could to help. this isnt about music its about humanity.
Celine,Enrique,& Adam have some god giving talent. I could listen to them all day. Everyone did an amazing job! :)
I miss Michael Jackson. Personally, I liked his solo version the best, but this and the original USA For Africa are obviously great songs as well.
aaww..this is so heart touching... and my best friend is from haiti.. so happy to see so many song stars came together to do summin like this for a country dat fell..love really sweet
man almost had me in tears....;( i love this bonding
adam levine, akon, gergie, celine dion, will i am, enrique iglesias, nicole scherzinger and pink!
I think they show great respect by keeping michaels chorus in! no one could replace it!
To everyone sayin there din this for money this was a non profit event.and they chose to sing this they didn't have to
hey there is a angel in this video !!!!!! 2:21 - 2:31
I love all the singers!! They all did a great job!! Everyone just needs to stop judging them!!
I always have goosebumps whenever i hear this song...From the first ever rendition to this one. All I can say is WOW! For collaborating this song for a good cause:)
was anyone else waiting for lil wayne to say "YOUNG MONEY!!"
all artists gave all the best of them. white or black. young or old. all did for good not for bad .. respect for them
that really was great--each and every singer came out as a star as their own, and together as a chorus, they worked together perfectly.
Justin bieber, Nick Jonas, Adam Levine, Celine dion -3 they obviously gave Celine the hardest part as her voice is the best 😏
Who can tell me all names of these singers? In order please
Amazing and it doesn't matter if the song was great or not which in my opinion was amazing and beautiful but what matters is that has donated millions to Haiti god bless ♥
Just wanted to cry... If the whole world will sing this song... It would be a wonderfull place!
I'm so happy to listen this song again and emotionally I fill exactly same I felt 20 years ago. Grate job !!! thank you !!
Fav parts of the song is the message and Jennifer H. part after the rap scene. Song gives me chills everytime I listen to it.

THANK U ALL FOR CARING ABOUT MY COUNTRY. GOD BLESS HAITI
Still enjoy watching this video even after the first time 2 years ago. I think its absolutely amazing to see so many respected artists come together to collaborate on such a great song and use it to create more greatness. i was able identify most of the artist without any research or anything so it's no suprise to me that i liked it. GOD BLESS HAITI and those who contributed to the making of this video!!!!!1

e a todos os cantores; meus parabéns! lindo video....beijos a todos.
celine dion was great! here and fergie!!
it's so great when see everybody sing one song together! perfect !^^~
poorest invention = autotune
I sang this as a solo at my chorus concert, and everyone in the audience, including me, started crying. This son g not only touched their hearts, but it touched mine too!
All of you who are saying bad things about this video, and Haiti, you should be sooo ashamed. How would you like it if your home was destroyed, and your loved ones were lost? No matter what color, we are all the same. We all deserve the same things. So if you have negative things to say, you should just keep them to yourselves.
biurifull
But let's continue the tradition. It's about the message. Love everyone.
One of my favorite song and all the top singers at one place. simply great!!!!!!
I think its great that my generation remade this! i love the original and know that it was meant to bring help and get people to understand that we can do things as the PEOPLE. My generation just showed it in a way that represents the current culture and how that is relevent to the TIMING of Haiti. It was for an amazing cause; so stop hatin! RIP MJ! love everyone who supported this from the singers to the listeners :)
It brings a tear to my eye to see my country, Africa, dancing and singing and mostly having fun. I'm proud that those years ago Nelson Mandela helped sort out the Racism etc. I love you guys ;D
Gives me chills every time I hear it.
Gives me goosebumps everytime
What Wyclef does with his voice always gives me goose bumps in such a good way
adam levine is soooo amazing
We are the World ! " WE ARE THE CHILDREN " !

My choir teacher picked this song to be the song the whole 7th 8th and 6th graders sang together. It was the last song we sang with her because she is leaving for a different school. Everyone cried. I love u ms.fog-3 im going to miss you
This may be the first song the Kanye hasn't used a sample to.
VIVA SU MUSICA POR SIEMPRE ! SALUDOS DESDE BOGOTA COLOMBIA !
I listen to this song 15 times a day and to all of the ones passed on, you will be missed.
I get chills throughout the duration of both the original and this remake. All those beautiful voices...I love to see that much talent!
i watched USA for Africa version recorded in 1985 and then this one. things have changed a lot.. disappointingly
celine dion
we sang this song at our graduation...i love this.
what matters is that everybody play a part in this video not to show off their voice and talent but to help Haiti and the people of Haiti through their rough times...big up to all in this video coming together as one like Michael Jackson say we are the world and as God children we can make a huge difference...1 love
That was completely awesome. Lol this is like the billionth time I've watched this, and I still get chills everytime they switch singers.
love this song...
