TY! Live in AZ and just now going for the first time. We were between the Avi & Riverside. We ended up booking Riverside for the executive suite. Your video reassured me. 😂❤
I stayed at Aquarius and Riverside, and both are decent. I preferred Aquarius for the amenities meaning it has a gym. Thanks for an excellent and informative video. I didn't stay at Edgewater, but I did go to the comedy club, which is great.
Well back in the day the Flamingo Hilton was The place in Laughlin. The Riverside was the first place I ever saw someone play $1 on a slot machine. That was a big bet in those days. And the Pioneer was sawdust floors, not carpet.
I was the past couple years I stayed at probably about six of the nine down there in Laughlin. Aquarius was my favorite and I will always book there and only go there now but in regards to the Tropicana, I stayed there once and the pub was closed during the week and there was no place where I could get a burger and a beer at the same time. I spoke to one of the managers and she said I would have to get a burger at the diner place and then go to the bar and get a beer at the bar and then find a seat. I just cannot believe a casino would not have a place for a burger and a beer at the same time at the same Placenever doing Tropicana again
I had a trip planned to Laughlin between Christmas and the new year. After doing more research, I cancelled. Laughlin really doesn't seem to be putting its best foot forward. The place seems to be running on fumes.
@60gregma it's definitely not as fun and exciting as it once was. If you are looking to gamble without the Vegas crowd, it's an option. It's not an exciting option but an option. Non the less. They took all the food deals and room deals away, too, which didn't help matters any.
@@Dosmacs EXACTLY! we live in New Mexico and have better Casinos here... SO... why do we travel 500 miles ? To escape.. town The hotels are below average and run down, the food too expensive not to count that you have to request room cleaning for toals or T. Paper...You have to go across the river to dine... we went there for the last 20 years. but not 2024... What makes me sad is that they have the mentality that they will do you a favor if you stop there.
There is a shuttle between the Tropicana and Harrah's if you want to stay at one and sample the other. I stayed at the Tropicana to burn up some comp nights before they expired at the end of the year. You are right about the looong walk from the garage to check-in. Glad I left my bags in the car at first so I didn't have to lug them through the casino.
Headed to Harrah's the 19th hoping to eat at the gourmet for something different any thoughts there? Spending a day horseback riding and to Oatman. The river cruise looks good now as well! Thank you. Much bigger than I had pictured
The river cruise is cool but very short. It only goes to Davis dam and back. I've never eaten at the Gourmet room but hear its good. Steer clear of the Cafe I'm Harrahs. They served us some rotten expired ketchup once. We've never been back. Bumbleberry Flats at the Pioneer is good comfort food. The buffet at the Riverside is also good. Have fun!!! The weather should be just about perfect.
i felt the same way at pioneer i think the last building next to Colorado belle is full time renters There were cars on jacks back there. does anybody know what the tax bracket at inidian casinos are, are they 1200 like the country wide for the feds?????
Great Review! Aside from the Avi at 3,. You were spot on. Stayed at one of those corner semi beach view rooms @ Harras in 2014. Stayed 2 months, $8 a night, most nights before Laughlin had Resort fees. Sure miss Sam's Town, and you should have shown the closed Mold & Bug infested Colorado Belle, I miss them
*¡the avi seemed promising partly due to being owned by the indigenous that their reservations were informed on my request to have adjoining rooms since my mom (1934 - 2012) had a massive stroke and cranial surgery in 1997 that when we arrived on March 2005 that the reservations personnel were so unprofessional that they needed a 2A solution, SO, the avi is NOT worth my MONEY who will NEVER be getting my MONEY!*
Why didn't you mention that all the rooms at the pioneer were remodeled. What happened to the Regency? Also, I've heard they made rv parking in the parking lot more resrictive. 39:27
@Boogenhagen100 A lot of the casinos had specials on the rooms back when. Considering the condition of all of the rooms, they should run the specials again. More money to gamble with, and the casinos wouldn't lose a dime.
Are you delusional the avi has rooms with bugs we had to move our room because of the bugs and it’s to far from the other casinos I would rate this casino 8 or 9
@elainetrujillo639 the rooms are remodeled. It may be far from the other casinos, but there is so much to do at Avi. There is no way it's worse than the Pioneer, Tropicana, Harrahs or the River Lodge.
Um , like you know, you'e rather annoyingly repetitive in your review. Um, may be expand your commentary vocabulary. so like your it wont be so difficult to sit through.Whatever.
My wife has relatives in Fort Mohave . So , I get to spend at least a few days a month in Laughlin . It's all old and tired , overpriced . I would rather stay in the worst hotel in Vegas than be in Laughlin .
Riverside is our favorite. We always stay there.

I like the Edgewater a lot but your right on with the 1-9 rating thanks for doing this it was a lot of
It was tough to rank them. Thanks for agreeing.
Laughlin is out dated period. They all need big changes. But thanks for the video. I did watch it all.
@@mreppen1 Thank you. I appreciate that.

@Dosmacs thank you for your help! Looking forward to exploring new frontiers.
I just lost my Caesar’s Diamond status - which of these casinos is easiest to earn reduced rates on hotels?
Any thoughts? Thx
You earn 2 free nights pretty fast at the Riverside. The edgewater used to be good. Are you a Wyndham rewards member?

Are you mental?
The vast majority of visitors to Laughlin don't come in RV's so that shouldn't be part of the ranking criteria. Otherwise, good video.

At Don laughlins parking lot.
Great video -
In N out burger is within walking distance of most casinos - a huge plus for Laughlin IMO
Very true
LOL #8 was way better when it was the Ramada express and rooms were $10/night. I shit you not 10 bucks/night back in the 90s.
