2003 Lexus ES300 AC Expansion Valve Removal

A brief video showing how to get to, and remove, the 2003 Lexus es300 expansion valve in the dash. Couldn't find much info on this so we made Video. Sorry about the one handed recording.

Thanks man!! After watching the dash removal videos this was heaven sent. Replacing our entire AC system on a 2003 Camry with condenser, compressor, and expansion valve. Looks like the Lexus is about identical to the Camry. Mine was a little tight and took some effort but WAY better than doin a dash removal!!

You are so right!!! this is very very helpful. I have a 2004 Toyota Camry and it is slightly different, but 98% the same as show in this video. After watched this short video it gave me courage to open up my Camry. All other video scared me!!! lol thank you

For the 2009 Camry, you get take out the expansion valve out from under the hood. It's on the firewall. Just unscrew it.

It just looks like a round bolt but it's a 8 mm :-)

Bad info, that isn’t the expansion valve on 330es
