it took me a monumental amount of time to see that rook d1 was checkmate. I was thinking, "okay then white king moves to row 2, then what? rook trades evenly taking white's H rook, or trades down with taking white's black bishop, how does that help?" then I could hear marc's voice in my ear: "King to row 2? How's he gonna do that sucka?!?"
