You see what happened to the rank 13 mage that went toe 2 toe ? i actually was about 2% from rank 11 before i transferred. Then i went pve and my ranks decayed.
Because lots of times people will blow CD's on you at the beginning of fights when there are only a few people vs a lot.. i iceblocked for safety, also it was an ambush so i was trying to keep them all off me, the iceblock throws them off. you're right though wotf would remove a debuff
its drops DoT's it gives people a chance to come help/heal...you can get back your Ice barrier cooldown if your frost maybe in that time extremely useful..

hes a very good mage indeed, mages are now completely underpowered while every other class gets buffed (hunters can basically kill us without even using their weapons just using their pets now)
its pre-bc, just look at the gear other people have, people dont take the time to get 60 pvp gear anymore, becuase quest rewards and green/blue drops in outlands are so much better
2:30-3:50 that mage would get me aggervated if i lost.....I mean really she kept keeping on her icebarrier and then when that was gone if she had it she would ice block
those of yall sayin you pop blink and frost nova to get away from Nova seriously L2P you think a mage is gonna let him beat on him while he gets interrupted every second...and mages cant be two shotted in TBC say that to my 70 gnome mage
