Sarge I'm sorry you have the 1911 illness...maybe caught it from me? I'm older but have a feeling you've had that 1911 problem like me for longer than you had a channel. You have TISAS 1911S ME TOO along with many others including COLT, DAN WESSON, KIMBER and others. The TISAS IS A GOOD PISTOL AND VERY REASONABLE.
I too have an addiction to 1911s. Currently I believe if my 75 year old memory serves me right that I have 20 1911s in my collection. No two are identical, from 9 different manufacturers in 7 different calibers including 4 baby 1911s 2 ea from Browning and Llama. One from each manufacturer in 22LR & 380ACP and 2 22LR Conversion units a Kimber and a Colt ACE. My latest fix is an Iver Johnson Eagle XL Long Slide 6” ZOMBIE in 10mm. I also have a WWII Chinese contract Hi Power and one of the new FN High Powers, a Star BM and 4 Tokerevs. I call them 1911 adjacent. The good news is there is no 12 step program for my “problem”, if you know of one, well just let that be your little secret. Love your videos hope your health issues are under control. I am keeping you in my prayers.
I have always enjoyed your videos. I like the stories you tell during your presentation of the guns you have collected over the years. I found your channel by hearing Howling Sarge mention you. And i have been hooked since. Thank you for your addition to the gun channel reviews.
I remember those knives. Camilus made them as well as others. they also were to cut the chute free so you can use your back up chute. I forgot the other companies that made them.
I got a Camilus knife my wife bought me from a Christmas gift box from Walmart for Christmas. It had a really nice knife which I love the metal work they put into it. Sharpest knife I've ever owned and I always carry it, it's very special to me.
Mr Jones Sir guess what!!!!! I’m seriously getting ready to make a major move for me and my family. We are hopeful to be purchasing a home in Dukedom/Martin Tennessee. We will be right on state line Rd idk if your familiar with that area. But I cannot wait to experience one of your get togethers. Appreciate and enjoy your content to the fullest Sir.
i like 1911's too but i dont own one because theyre not left hand fiendly and im left handed as it stands right now i cant afford a cabot lefthanded 1911 theyre last i checked they cost 7000 dollars and i just cant justify that kinda money
I have trained myself to get it on and off safe with my left hand by canting the gun to the right and curling my left trigger finger back to get it off safe. And tilting it down to get it on safe with my left knuckle.

My Hi Standard Sentinel 22lr is a member of the permanent collection. Made in about 1968 I think. They don't make them like they did back then.
Gotta love those old H&R revolvers, they take a beating and keep on running.

Thing about the story's is. Most of them are true to me and I Alway's leaned hard on what I ever did. Some time getting in over my head.
I know you have some small frame snubbies. I would have loved to see them. and I will bet I am not alone
It's chemo week. But small hand gun and snubby's are in the list.
Great video George and a nice selection of firearms. Looking forward to seeing more.

I really like that 586. Honest wear and I bet it's still top mechanical shape.
