@@beastballchampions agree, seems strictly worse than just learning the timing on it. There's some stuff in this game where learning macros or stuff like this is actually detrimental to your play. For instance, the short hop instant aerial macro is very useful for beginners, but is strictly worse if you're trying to do fullhop instant aerial, need to mix up timings and can't short hop because you're used to just spamming the macro, or you want unique drift. tons of stuff like this especially in ult. Unless a tight combo is made easier with a macro, it's just strictly better to learn how to do it the proper way.
@@SuperAmazingJaredI think the sh aerial macro is fine to use regardless of level for sh buffered aerials. one of the best ways to get consistent IRAR buffered aerials is to use shoulder jump + c stick which uses the macro to get the short hop and I wouldn’t be surprised if many top Roys execute their jairs like this. sh aerials in general with shoulder jump + c stick are completely fine. the same goes for two jump buttons for sh imo. other actions not done with macros can still be learnt separately. there should be setting toggles for a lot of these macros tho, especially the sh aerial macro.

Hero has the best ledge slip tech, the ledge slip kaswoosh (lsk). Covers a ton of space and sets up for easy dair, bair or neutral b. Kills really early
Especially in mid level play, you don't need a lot of tech skills to play the game well. If you can short hop fast fall aerials, rar back air, tech, recover, and turn around specials, it's mostly down to skill on whose better unless if you're playing a shoto or Steve but that's your problem.
In general Ultimate isn’t a tech heavy game at all. Everything you would see the pros do you probably can do if you don’t do yourself already, so Ultimate is almost entirely about fundamentals.

Auto fastfall actually makes it so you don’t have to input down after your aerial. Super powerful for people like me who struggle with the timing
