I still remember the day a Benefit representative at one of the local Macy’s literally pulled me towards her and asked if she could put Benetint on my cheeks. This was ohh, 10 to 15 years ago?? I already had the product, but I said yes anyway. The original story is the best ever!!!! I already knew it thanks to you, so thank you again!!!!! 😍😍 This is so iconic!!!!!!! I absolutely love original, iconic, stood-test-of-time, quintessential, archetypal anything!!!!!
When I shared it with you, it made me realize it’s a really fun true story and people might want to hear it. Such an innocent looking product with such a risqué past. Not so innocent looking actually in that fiery red. Haha. 🔥

I like the original brush better. The product does look innocent when you first look at it, but this gorgeous burgundy color is not so innocent-looking after all!! ♥️

I have always shied away from this product as I thought, from seeing the product in the bottle, it would be too much 💋 However you have ably demonstrated that it is actually quite subtle 👄😊💕

Hi Rebecca. Loved the story behind the lip and cheek tint. Had no idea Benefit has been around that long. I’ve never tried this particular product from them but I do enjoy their brow products. I’m more curious now as to how the tint would look like on nipples instead 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Woah what a fun piece of history. I had a little sample bottle that actually lasted forever. Thanks to it I've been into other lip tint products. The biggest gripe with lip tints tho is that at the end of the day, the layer of skin that was colored becomes tough peely and dry. Hasn't stopped me from wearing them tho! A light wash of tint on top of lip balm helps a lot :)
Yes. The stain can adhere to the dry areas and cling. Agreed. But I also agree that some balm or lipgloss helps entirely. Very true!!! 💕

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty oh a nightmare it was!! The stuff itself is super sticky and hard to apply neatly. Once it dries and peels off, the top layer of my lips quickly dried up into a cracking mess! Tried it again on the center of my lips, same dry hazard. Just awful!!

I order one and I don’t know why but I didn’t like it . I am Latina with tan skin and the tone on my lips is not as nice as it looks on you . Also didn’t last a lot for me I don’t know but for me is not a product I will buy again that’s my personal opinion . Love ur chanel ❤
You know it’s interesting because this is an iconic classic product but I think they’ve actually kind of perfected it with other formulas through the years. I think when we take some of these older products and just hold them up and compare them to the formulas we have today they are just Not as pleasing. So I don’t blame you at all
So I personally DON'T own this product specifically because of the packaging. The packaging seemed outdated to me and the dark red really turned me off. You make it seem like something I might use - maybe 🙃

Goodness I am very Deep in colour and just bought benetint thinking that the last in theo spectrum is the most deepest n strongest tint but now I am close to tears as I made a mistake of a purchase!!! 😭😭😭 Too watery to stand in top of my cream powder foundation

Hello Bridget! You know what? I was JUST thinking about that Becca powder the other day. Was thinking that it does SUCH a great job with their Dewing tint that I should actually try it with other foundations and such. It's actually quite quite nice, a very pretty powder. I swatched it on a video on insta, if you get a chance. It's super pretty. 😘

I have the patrick ta blush duo in she's wanted...do you think i need this? Like is it different?
It’s more of a formula difference in this. The benefit product is liquid and it’s more of a tint whereas the Patrick Ta is a cream and a powder. So they apply and wear differently on the skin. In terms of the shade they are somewhat similar but still I think very different.

It’s definitely an original stain with just a hint of color. These days stains are indeed darker.
